To help you feel a little more comfortable with these exercises, I told you I'd run them with you OP. I'll never ask or tell you to do anything I would not personally do, so here goes.
Goal 1:I re-read the first three chapters of Subtle Art in order to be able to help you interpret things. Big thing I want to focus on isThe Feedback Loop From HellandSubtlety Number 3. As somebody who really enjoyed some of Bukowski's stuff, I gotta say starting off with his story is actually pretty interesting... I mean, here's a guy who--at 49, no less--sacrificed pretty much everything in order to pursue his passion. And this is all with the knowledge that he was more likely to fail than he was to succeed.
He wrote to the small publisher that had taken an interest in him; "I have one of two choices--stay in the post office and go crazy.. or stay out here and play at writer and starve. I have decided to starve."
I've always found that an interesting--if dramatic--exchange.
Goal 2:
Things I like about myself:
-I don't give up. Ever.
-I always figure out how to turn things around.
-I'm not materialistic.
-I can eat a metric fukton of food in one sitting
-I'm in good shape
-I see the best in everyone I meet
-I make friends wherever I go
-I don't dwell on things for too long anymore
-I'm confident in my ability to learn anything I devote myself to
-I have done some things in the last two years that most people haven't
Things I want to change about myself:
-Often, I spend more money than I should.
-I let things slide way too easily.
-I should probably be a little neater
-I go out to eat more than I cook these days
-I drink more caffeine than is natural for human consumption
-I need to be more honest with myself about what I can and can't afford sometimes.
-I spend too little time learning new things in favor of continuing things I am good at
Goal 3:
I was honest with myself about my finances today. I've been considering picking up a second job to give me a little more breathing room these days. Spoke to a good friend of mine who manages a bar and asked if he had any open positions. Going to become a bar-back on the weekends (with the hope of eventually become a bartender) in order to cover some additional expenses.
Looking forward to see what kind of steps you have taken today, OP. Hopefully having seen this, you feel comfortable putting your own strengths/weaknesses out there. I believe in you!

My problem is though and Tobias can attest to this it isn't like I have high standards. I am attracted to women that would be considered 4/10 and those types of women still don't want me. It's weird that in 2018 you can't even get average or below average women unless you are a chad or something. Women don't have to be at their best to get average men.
