The character needs more than this to take advantage of what has been laid down. I dont really thing ms marvel is a good character in the comics, so I'd prefer more changes.

Kevin Feige saying she's more powerful than anyone we've seen yet has me hating on this movie. Dumb Mary Sue bullsh*t.

Captain Marvel isn't one of the most powerful characters in the comics. I don't know why that's floating around ITT. She's an Avenger, sure, and could hold her own with them . . but she'd get absolutely destroyed by Thanos on his worst day.

I re-iterate, if they make her Superman coming to the rescue of everyone, MCU is dead.

More powerful doesnt mean more smarter. Thanos is way ahead of the game.

Keep in mind the russos stated his gauntlet is burnt out from the snap. That and the original 6 will come together.

She will play a huge part, but no way she gets the shine for victory. If anything its Dr strange who knew how things were gonna pan out and let it play it the way it should be.

But in my opinion i think who evers contract is ending is gonna exit on a high note defeating thanos.

But Thanos should be more powerful. She's not even as powerful as Thor in the comics. For them to amp up her powers to Thanos level is concerning to me.

MCU isnt dumb enough to make the same mistakes as DCEU. She gets hype and buildup sure but I dont think she'll get alot of screen time in IW sequel. No way you build 11 years for a big bad villain like thanos to get killed off by a character with only one movie.

No idea how strong she is now since the new SJW Marvel likely gave her a huge power boost, but before Ms. Marvel wasn't even at Iron Man level, let alone Thanos. She used to be "Binary," who was a pretty powerful character, but even then I don't think she was as strong as Thor, who also isn't as powerful as Thanos.

To be fair, no way Thanos can lose if they make the gauntlet as powerful as in the comics. Sure, there was that whole Thanos is self-hating and therefore losing on purpose angle in the comic, but that's just plot-driven stupidity so that the good guys can win. Makes more sense to nerf the gauntlet instead to make the movie more believable.

Bruh its called character development. If youve been following MCU's entire storyline, the characters have its ups and downs.

This exactly how the directors and production crew of MCU want fans too feel, and then to suprise the fck outta them in the coming sequels. Hulk and the original 6 werent together in IW, he wasnt the only one thrown around like a bitch, plus hulk is in conflict with banner and only wants to come out in his terms. They will redeem him and he will get his licks in for sure.

If thats the case there is no better way for them to go out by coming up with a game plan and making moves/adjustments along the process in defeating thanos.

she would have been an extremely dynamic and interesting change to the MCU if done right, but it doesn't look like she was done right at all.

she is insanely strong. i think she could take any of the current avengers easily. she is basically a badass version of superman, except superman has much more physical strength.

To be fair, no way Thanos can lose if they make the gauntlet as powerful as in the comics. Some subtle points strange left behind along his plan.

Not only did strange needed stark alive but on titan tony made thanos bleed, this is to let stark know thanos isnt invincible as he is made out to be and im sure he will realize this in the sequel

Thanos is already powerful, none of characters could bodied him.

She will most likely being in coordination with the others bodying thanos.

Even if it doesn't pull off, its still a buildup to IW sequel. Captain Marvel isnt the only character for MCU to depend on.

MCU has been a success for the last 11 years, their not so good, bad or ok movies get away because its a shared universe leading up to mega villain. Next phase will have another build up, eternals, nova, and most likely xmen, F4 are gonna be in the next chapter for another major villain

Strange did exactly that. It didn't work. Hence his willingness to go along with the other Illuminati boneheads, resulting in Planet Hulk.
