I think we finally came to an agreement on how to handle it. We are planning to hold two rookie drafts. The first one is same as always. You can participate in the draft or keeper a rookie from your team. All rookies owned will be ineligible

The second draft all rookies that weren't kept or drafted in the first one will be dumped into a player pool, regardless if they are on someone's team or not. Everyone will have to make a pick in that draft for their second rookie keeper slot.

So far 7 have voted yes 1 has voted no.
Sorry I've been out and missed the discussion. But I'm game for it. Seems like most everyone else supports it anyways, so I'll give it a Yes.

Also with Pro's vote we've officially approved the 2nd rookie keeper.

Yeah I already added that second slot, lol

Had a hard time not seeing us getting 1 more vote when it was 7-1 so just made the change last night while I was playing with draft time

What was the word on another DL slot though? Has that idea been abandoned or was it a serious consideration?
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

We can vote on it. Like I said before last year was tough on teams with the new 7 day DL. If I had to guess it would probably be approved.

Honestly if i dont get picks, im pretty set on forfeiting this year.

Ill prob slide ohtani in somewhere. I mean, i would see how my draft went and make pickups but im not trading picks again. I want a year with all my picks

Ask Mel about last year and extra picks. JY was short quite a few picks and managed to put up a great season.

Bro his season hinges on sunny conditions, a player down is catastrophic

Ok how the hell do you change the custom image for your team without using Gravitar? I'm sick of this dumb dog.

edit: never mind, didn't see the notification saying it was temporarily disabled.

The fuk. Are you talking about lindor?

I dont get how you guys are talking chit when i havent had 4 to 5 picks every year and last year was the only year i wasnt in the champ. And was very close regardless considering you congratulated me before our matchup ended

So, i know that life.

In regard to my comment; less to do with lindor, more to do with continually making up those missing spots

And like i saidifi dont get at least a few picks. Ill slot ohtani in and prob not trade picks regardless

Leaving me something like:

Trout
Lindor
Scherzer
Ohtani
Rizzo
Buehler
Reyes

Weโ€™ve covered this, you did get picks by mortgaging next season for current season.

The year you donโ€™t go full retard trading picks mid seasons.... thatโ€™s when you will have had a season without picks

What you really mean is you havenโ€™t had extra picks to get to the championship (I.e. a full draft plus sacrificing future picks for mid season additions)

If you do as you say and donโ€™t trade next years picks mid season then you will finally have been short picks in a season for the first time since entering the league. Until that happens though this claim you made the championship without picks is 100% false. What exactly do you call using next years picks for this years team? Just lmao at was missing picks.

Read an article today that said now that Realmuto is off the board maybe the Braves move on to seriously considering someone like Kluber

Thereโ€™s some logic here. Realmuto was obviously the Braves primary trade target from the get go. And maybe they didnโ€™t want to move pieces (prospects) for something else in hopes they could strike a deal with Miami rather than jeopardize it

Now thatโ€™s no longer a chance they could look at the Indians more seriously. Inciarte would probably have to go as part of any package to Cleveland, which would prompt another OF add likely by trade as well.

Weโ€™ll see if anything else shifts now that the Realmuto trade has finally dropped.

My guess is no, but since the Braves weโ€™re tied so heavily to working something out for Realmuto itโ€™s not out of the realm of possibility other opportunities were out on hold to see the situation all the way through.

Next few days should tell the story on that theory
