GS only does things for one reason. To make more money. So they clearly see that boards with all white members aren't the best way to do that in the future.

They do it to match compliance with current and known to be coming laws,

Soon to be race versions like California's female one for example...

No one is suggesting all hires everywhere are merit based. But to argue that the only explanation for a 20-person board to be all white is discriminatory hiring is outrageous.

We have a very solid foundation as a nation right now and will be fine IMO, we can handle problems fairly well, but yea

I have some very safe opportunities with solid growth outside the public market so I'm gonna stick with that for this year.
Me thinks history about to repeat itself
