Some upcoming potential catalysts

GRAF filed 8-K for shareholder vote to approve merger + also were granted their early termination waiver which allows them to merge without the mandatory 30 day waiting period.

SPAQ was also granted that waiver

FMCI was also granted that waiver

OPES teleconference tomorrow

Expect the first 3 to merge within the next 4 weeks, GRAF likely being first.

On the spac subreddit (which is basically a OPES bagholder support group), there wasn't a flurry of new threads or posts about the call, which meant it was another disaster.

On a different note, bloomberg posted an article last night after AH trading closed about HCAC merging with Canoo.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ource=url_link

HCAC and its warrants had pumped due to rumors of a proterra merger. Canoo actually has a higher valuation. My initial reaction was it will dump on Monday due to it not being Proterra, but the more I read about Canoo the more impressed I am. So now I'm at 50-50 on whether it will dump. My avg warrant buy-in was $1.80. The noose comes out of the drawer at $1.60

Yea, I agree. I think it's an exciting company that has a tremendous amount of potential if they execute. I'm going to buy some more HCAC warrrants on Monday if I can get in at a good price.

HCAC hasn't moved at all surprisingly, seem to be past the pump every spac on every rumour stage of spacs. Think I may get some warrants when I transfer some money over tomorrow.

Fuk me I wish people would learn basic math though and get these grafw up closer to actual value. Trading at like a 40% discount now, ameritrade still hasn't updated their site to reflect the change from 2:1 to 4:3 which I think is contributing as well. Could easily see Velodyne around 30 post merger, they already had like 800M on the books through 2024 and have since released 3 new contracts (including one today with the university of Nevada for Las Vegas smart city traffic lidar) and got Hensai (leading autonomous driving lidar supplier and largest lidar supplier in china) sign a licensing agreement as well which ended a potentially long and drawn out patent infringement lawsuit.

Worst case I'll have to exercise my warrants and sell shares I guess. I'll need like 60K to do that though

You have a long @ss time to wait till youHAVEto exercise. I think they are 2023 or 2025? I think they can force exercise if it goes up to $20 or something a share. I bought 100 grafw the other day at $2.4 I may grab some more when we get closer to announcement of the merge or if it holds at $17. Technically these warrants are worth like $4.10 each.... ayy lmao

They can/will force redemption if it trades at 18 or more for 20 days out of 30 which is almost a guarantee. If these warrants are still exercisable in 2023 the stock was a flop and ya boy is belly up broke.

Merger dates are approaching now, don't expect many big gap downs like we just experienced with the Q3 mergers from here on in unless they're garbage targets.

only $115 in the red on SHLL as of this moment. Been holding it for at least a few months now I think. Let's turn green boysssss.

I scalped their warrants on the way up during that huge run from 15 to 35 bucks but left so much on the table think I scalped from 6 up to around 9 and they peaked around 14

I'm 9K down on grafw now after a low point of almost 17 last week. Lesson learned, don't chase pre market.

Good day for us OPES bag holders. Hopefully we don't spend the next two weeks slowly bleeding out like the last month or two.
Only have a small position in SHLL, but impressed with the gain today.

No clue. I exited awhile ago. It's done really well since that drop to 1.85. I have to believe it shoots up right before merger. Right now I'm in HCAC, CCX, and the one under the radar- OAC. Should be very interesting to see what unfolds. SHLL and GRAF though are clawing back though.

sold 625 of my 900 SHLL shares @ 27.75 for a modest gain

bought initially in the low 20's and cashed out around 25 or so, then bought back in mid 26's. Up 4k on it in total.

Think the company still has potential so holding onto some shares still.

I'm regretting my warrant play on SHLL. I scalped up from like 6 to 8 but should have clearly just held.

Bought 1200 AVCTW at $0.335. Worst case I'm out 400 bucks best case they get back to $5 where they were earlier before covid.

Not sold on AVCT, they have a lot to prove. We'll see if if they get their act together by next quarter.
