^ Nice. Loved watching Rap City. Those were the days of reading song credits on album booklets that came with the physical media (tape/cd.)

Speaking of which, I was searching to see who produced Nas' "Take it in Blood" the other day. It was produced by a duo called Live Squad, who I was unfamiliar with. Well it turns out they produced another Nas song on It Was Written called "Silent Murder" that I wasn't even aware existed lol. Evidently, it was a tape only bonus track.

To further add to this, Live Squad was involved in early 2Pac and Digital Underground production. One of the brothers, Stretch, came to know 2Pac well through Shock-G and Stretch was one of the people with 2Pac when he got shot in the lobby of the building that Biggie was recording in. Stretch had also apparently robbed someone for 10 kilos of coke. He was ultimately shot and killed in his car shortly after being dropped off by Nas after an It Was Written studio session. Then at some point, Nas ended up playing "Take it in Blood" and "Silent Murder" for 2pac 3 days prior to 2Pac being killed.

I mainly use Reason and FL, I'm actually working on mixing one right now:

Neat! I'm using MPC essentials at the moment, it came bundled with the mpd218 hardware I bought.

Before that I was using kinetic 2 which is part of Cakewalk. When I first started out I was using Reaper (back when it was free). I'm thinking about switching back to Reaper because it supports surround sound and thats something I want to experiment with.
