I was talking about his refusal to go to Carolina last year, who was willing to trade for him back then despite his unresolved legal troubles. Obviously he has far less options this year so if he wants to play he has no choice but to consider Carolina. I just think it's pathetic that Carolina is willing to give up the farm for him when he didn't want to play for them last year. I think the team that signs him will be making a mistake and I'm not even referring to his problem with women. I lost respect for him when he screwed Houston over by demanding a trade because they didn't involve him in management decisions, especially right after Houston gave him a big contract. He's probably going to do the same to his new team.

New contract is 3 years which started last season. So 2 years at 150 million. At 28 million a year saving the team 16 million towards the cap. Basically a 2 year extension for 124 million.

Meh, maybe.. but by that time the new TV deal with have probably kicked in and the cap will grow even bigger. This is very much a team friendly deal, where they can get back Rasul Douglas and Davante as well

I have read different totals between $51-$53mil in fully guaranteed money. $45 million is guaranteed at signing. He won’t get anything close to $120 and it’s realistically a 2-3 year deal but he definitely made out great for his age.
