First time the Blues ever started a season 5-0-0 so that's exciting. I couldn't watch tonight though. I did not realize kyrou had so many points already.

I really need to watch more games but I'm so damn busy.

Chicago Blackhawks have announced that all management that is currently with the organization who had been with the organization since the 2010 sexual assault with Bradley Aldrich and players will no longer be with the management going forward.

This will include general manager Stan Bowman, who has submitted his resignation as a result of the findings, John McDonough, Jay Blunk and Al MacIsaac.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said in a statement following the breaking news that should these 4 wish to reenter the league in other roles they must first have an in person meeting with the league prior to accepting any job.

In addition the NHL has fined the organization 2 million dollars for their actions pertaining to the situation when it was brought to their attention in 2010.

The only downside now to this issue is that 3 big names from the Blackhawks 2010 management brass are with other clubs, making this a league wide matter and not just a team matter.

Marc Bergevin (Canadiens), Kevin Cheveldayoff (Winnipeg Jets) and Joel Quenneville (Florida Panthers). It remains uncertain whether investigations into these 3 will be made. Or the case will be closed following today's breaking news.

i dunno man, the kid's entering the league, trying to do everything right, i can see how he can feel like he's in some sort of power deficit to aldrich. i think i read some supposition that aldrich might have drugged him or the other kids but i don't remember. it genuinely sounds like this aldrich guy is a predator though, goes to jail for the ****, is a tagged and bagged sex offender, but still aims his business towards young men's athletic programs? uses young male interns to spread that business? i'm not going to bat for this guy, that's predatory behavior top to bottom

all that said, i'm not down with how everyone is using this as some kind of pitchfork parade to drag down everyone in the org, the players, etc. i don't doubt for a second that blackhawks mgmt fired him and prayed that it would disappear without reporting to the PA or law enforcement or anything, probably suppressing complaints along the way (because playoffs), and completely kept the players out of the loop (because playoffs). i don't think that's hard to believe, dumb hockey bros don't ask questions during a playoff race, and toews saying that he didn't know til training camp is believable because aldrich would no longer be working there. you show up, "where's brad?" "he's no longer employed here" "oh ok" that's the end of that. time for camp.

people are just doing the twitter thing and trying to figure out every player's level of complicity for mob justice instead of getting pissed at Q, chevy, bowman, HR, whoever the fuk else made that problem disappear

That’s the thing, Beach should have brought this to the PD. If he did around that time, my mistake and disregard the rest of my post lol

This is a criminal and/or civil matter. Owner/GM/Coaching staff need to chit can the video coach, they did and allow the authorities to handle the remainder

No doubt Aldrich is a pos and predator. If it comes out the Hawks interfered in any way with Beach reporting this to authorities then that’s a huge fuk up on their part. If it’s anything other than that, it’s largely just optics

as an employer you have responsibilities when it comes to employees doing chit like this and they did nada

should he have brought it to the police? yeah but dude this chit goes unreported SO often and i'm not even coming on some #believeallwomen bullchit with that, there's serious internal fear and guilt going on when you get taken advantage of like that, especially by someone you trust implicitly and is an integral part of your career. it's not a fukin accident that aldrich chose him, these cheems are expert manipulators

I do think its unnecessary for Q, Bowman, Chevy, the PA and players to be indicted to the point their careers are affected present day

Beach’s complaint is undeniably odd and unfamiliar, especially in that environment

You have to ask him- Is this something you want handled internally out of respect for your own dignity or is this something the org cannot handle and needs to go direct to the authorities

Hawks could have done more to facilitate that but if no interference took place regarding any reporting to authorities, chit man, I cant vilify them any more than calling them some insensitive *******s but I can also understand. This wasnt a prison rape, to put it bluntly

A large % of the adult male population will subject themselves to all kinds of abuse if it means getting ahead in their careers or not upsetting their superiors, which is why there are plenty of predators in positions of power.

What exactly do you think would've happened if Beach decided to beat the **** out of an assistant coach? He would've been written off as a violent lunatic, his hockey career over right there, and possibly criminally charged for assault. That jooooocy +20 goal differential though.........

Looks like Svechnikov may have taken the next big step. Dude struggled at times last year, and was clearly bothered by it. Glad to see his hot start, and hopefully CAR has a 1-2 punch in Svech and Aho for the forseeable future.





Also, BUF is currently a top 5 team.......until they eat chit a quarter of the way through the season again.
