I just deleted Tinder about almost a week ago and I saw it's a waste of time if you are a sub 8. You always gotta pay for Boosts just for your profile will get shown but without that, your profile will be hidden like it's already been said. I might try Tinder again with some professional pictures later on just to see if it makes a difference. Even last year it wasn't this bad as I could still get matches without Boost but that ELO really is a bitch.

You're right. I ran a boost, matched a girl during said boost, ****ed her the same night.

She doesn't pay for Tinder. The guy has to pay for her to potentially see your profile.

And since guys pay and girls dont, you have tons of guys paying to be on top of the queue, but you have a smaller amount of females who dont pay (limited swipes) and dont fully use the app (few swipes). Its just massive congestion.

That’s smart. Mines trained right down the middle pretty well, last time I changed from side to middle it took like three days to correct itself.

Depends what you're actually looking for. My standard is along the lines of "not expecting to find my soulmate of an app, but hopefully some good chemistry"

November Rundown

So partially for my own amusement, and partially to help out my own game, I started keeping track of some statistics with my Tinder game. I'm thinking of doing a monthly rundown at the end of each month and posting it here. Would people here care about seeing these stats at all? If no, I won't bother with this again.

I made a new account partway into the month, so November data is incomplete and missing all the stats from my old account. This probably only accounts for about half the month in total. This is Tinder only - no other apps, IRL game, etc. Here's what I've got:

Numbers in brackets is the average of my subjective estimation of the ratings of every girl in that category. I'd rate myself about a 6.5 for reference.

Some stats on openers. I won't post the exact line to prevent them from being Google-able but just a reference to the content. Most are Misc lines with my own slight adaptations. I'll only post stats for lines I tried 4 or more times.

Had 8 total new smashes in Nov (3 more from my old Tinder account, 1 from OKC, 1 from IRL). Average 5.75. December has been dry so far in terms of new girls, but I've got a solid line of regulars I can call any given night. Going on vacation in a couple weeks, and will try some very aggressive game to see how that works. Will be staying with family though, so logistics (and free time) may not be ideal.

Is this useful or interesting? Any other info I should try to include if I'm gonna do this again? Will start keeping track of SuperLike/Boost stats for one.

Completely irrelevant information for anyone itt except yourself; the difference between cities is enormous. Subjectively rating yourself as someone else said a humble 6.5 doesn’t help either. You gotta post screens of how you get there.

I'm starting to use instagram now instead of Tinder. Tinder has been dead lately and I noticed that I been only getting matches when I'm in a different town like 20 - 30 mins away, but instagram has been pretty good since my photography has been improving. Girls seem to be into that, but what's hard with instagram is that it's tough to know what someones age is. This one girl claims she's my age like 28-29, but totally looks like she's in her mid or upper 30's.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, butTinder now works like Bumblein that they hide girls in your like queue that are outside of your distance setting. This must have been changed when Tinder Gold was announced. Easy to get around, just set your distance high temporarily and swipe through 20-50 girls and most of the girls that liked you will be in there somewhere.

so... if we're outside their distance range then they won't see us at all?

I'm referring to only girls that have liked you already.

Say you have your distance set at 5 miles, and a girl really far away has hers at 50 miles (the default, girls don't change this because they're idiots).

She likes you, but you'll never see her card until you increase your distance setting.

I saw Lay at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
