Russia has to be able to threaten their neighbors with invasion otherwise NATO is threatening Russia.

Assuming this poster is Iranian (big assumption) I hope he realizes that if America wanted we could level and control his entire country in like a week. We don’t, and won’t - but still there is the capability. Forget “much nukes” and all the rest, the US could have boots on the ground in Tehran next Friday.

The manlet is getting ethered by his own allies now lol.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi bluntly told Russian President Vladimir Putin that he thinks Putin’s decision to wage war in Ukraine is a grave error.

Modi, who was speaking with Putin in Uzbekistan on the sidelines of a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, said now is not the time for war, and lambasted him for continuing to conduct attacks against Ukrainians nearly seven months into the war, according to Reuters.

optical guidance systems, an engine and a two-bladed propeller, as well as a bunch of microchips etc.
Or are you suggesting that Iran itself produces all this with all the sanctions imposed? built a couple of their own plants and factories to produce microchips and complex small parts?

it is ridiculous to even compare Iranian drones (simple hovering munitions) with American drones.

In fact, they are many times inferior to Turkish, but superior to Russian crap.

20+ years later, and we're still dealing with "If' you aren't pro war in Iraq and Afghanistan, you're a dirty Muzzie lover, or Democrat 'Murica hating pansy."

Same song, just a different country. Now it's "Putin shill."

So countries can't import equipment from elsewhere? Where does the US get it's microchips?

it's all about sanctions imposed by the most developed countries of the world, which have very complex mechanisms of action.
Even China cannot directly import microchips into Iran, as it will get sanctions in return and all local companies that produce microchips will lose rich customers and simply go bankrupt in the global market.
Only parallel imports through very complicated schemes or smuggling are possible here.

For example, Russia, because of the unleashed war and later sanctions, can no longer produce Kalibr and Iskander missiles, the "ka52" attack helicopters, as well as its newest tank "Vladimir t90", etc

The U.S. either produces chips locally or imports them from South Korea and Taiwan

Interesting. Good find.

I wonder if that's how Modi actually feels or only his public stance.

It’s like I’ve been trying to emphasize for a long time, especially to memcop but to anyone focusing so much on just the military aspect - the outcome of conflicts like this are determined not by military capabilities alone but also heavily by political (both domestic and international), economic, and social factors in addition to just the military.

Considering the totality of the world economic system right now, I can’t image how any respectable world leader could think otherwise.

It’s been an extremely unnecessary thorn in the side at the worst time possible.

Absolute national selfishness.

this is true and a very broad topic of discussion.

for example, the purchase of ussr ammunition abroad, cause there are many countries where the usa+ukraine compete with russia in terms of agreements with other countries on arms purchases (old artillery ammunition for howitzers, multiple rocket launchers, etc).

And as for Russia's domestic policy, the example of total mobilization, where Putin is not a fool and doent want to cause discontent among the population. they would rather sit on the sofa and watch everything from the TV screen, admiring the made-up victories and the power of their army, this the way where Putin will get his 146% in the next elections and will be the Tsar for the rest of his life.

Maybe read the RAND study. A threat of invasion isnt the definition of a security threat. As an american you should be embarassed that this has to be explained to you

No one but russia and putin loving miscers wanted them to invade ukraine.

Also, it isnt 30% of republicans that agree with russian sanctions and aid to ukraine. Last time i checked virtuallg every politician in your country agrees whether democrat or republican.

Thats been true in canada as well, first time in a long time both conservatives and liberals agree on something. Thanks putin for the unity.

So I guess the counter offensive has stalled out again? Couple days ago everybody was jerking each other off that Ukraine was going to completely destroy Russia and now we are back to the Wagner guy to deflect from all the Nazis in Ukraine again for the fourth or fifth time and the Russian man bad cope.

I remember when you were claiming Russia was going to run through Ukraine and it’ll be over soon. Now you are down to celebrating Russia barely being able to hold onto minimal gains that took more than half a year to obtain. While one of Putin’s main allies is even pointing out the absurdity of Russia’s military being there. You are one sad obese pale dummy.
