Interesting video I just found. Watching this makes me think this hurricane isn't going to be that bad after all...at least for my area. It says Matthew that hit us last year was also a category 5, and that wasn't THAT bad when it hit us. I believe it may have been a category 1 by the time it hit us, but it is much larger than Irma according to this video, so in theory it'd have a greater amount of leverage to strengthen itself, but it wasn't that big of a deal for us.

Just woke from a nap. Exhausted after helping wheel chair bound rear neighbor. Concerned about the storm surge as high tide early Monday morning is supposed to be 3.5---that's really high for those that don't know.
