It was a book from the rack in the classroom. This was 6th grade, where I also distinctly remember taking a standardized reading comprehension test in which I received a perfect score and "above 12th grade level".

Math, that was a different story.

Because the slide reciprocates that will make 2nd sight picture much better than just dry fire, I really like this idea. doing more research.

In high school trig class I could do all problem solving in my head. My teacher hated this and always insisted on "showing your work". I didn't like "showing my work" because it took way more time than I required.

Teacher was convinced I was cheating so one day in front of the class he made up problems and wrote them on the board, had me go up and solve in front of everyone. I'd be solving the problem in my head as he was writing it down so I knew the answer maybe 3-5 seconds after he was done, then I'd just tell him. This went on for about 5 problems then he gave up.

His problems were easy because he was the kind of high school math teacher that probably didn't have a lot of experience in math/logic/deductive sciences. He basically just taught an instruction set on how to arrive to an answer... not understand how the functions worked (which I knew, which is why it was easy for me). There were times that I would teach other students how/why maths works and they'd understand after the teacher couldn't.

Each year of high school I was "1 class ahead" with math and science so I was always with kids 1 year older than me. Like I said before, I was stupid and lazy, so I would never do homework. My math classes weighed I think 90% of the grade on tests and quizzes, they also had bonus questions. I never did homework and would ace tests lmao and got As in the end.

By the start of 11th grade I hated school and got even lazier then stopped taking math and science classes (because in previous two years I took all that was required).

Towards the end of 12th grade I had I think a 2.0 GPA then went in and took the ACT. I was running on like 3 hours of sleep and a bunch of EC. I got a 25 just winging it lmao.

in HS, i was somehow a year ahead in math but i didn't understand any of it and went to extra help 3x a week, still dont understand that one

all this ACT talk and I cant even remember what my score was. I only sent in my SAT scores

I see one on Amazon for $60 that I wouldn't mind abusing during a rifle class. All the other ones I see are either lego-quality cheap or brb $400 for a flashlight with a cable attached to it.
