Also, to help you out, tbh I believe that she loved you more, and in a sense is letting this go to her head and shes doing it somewhat to spite you. Dont be phased bro, you have more to offer than that russian guy, shell realize it down the road after its to late.

She always loved me more than I loved her, but that's because I had the wrong priorities. In the end, the pendulum swung and now it's the opposite situation. You might be right, she might be trying to spite me, but who knows? I don't believe she is a vengeful person, but maybe a part of her is enjoying this. And yeah, I hope she does realize it eventually bro. But if she marries him, it's game over man. She'll never divorce. That's basically why I got a little frantic at the end and ended up looking like a desperate cuck. I feel like this decision is irreversible, even if she does change her mind down the road.

Chadimir Putin a ring on it. Hope he’s not Russian into this. This whole thing sounds Volga in any case. Sochi shame. Hopefully you’ll be able to move on and find Nikita happiness. Ural be alright in the end. It’s a shame she said Tatar but you were Stalin on marrying her, which isnt very Orthodox and in terms of being a traditional Catholic she is quite Ivangelical. Luckily though you’re not one of those who gets a t.A.T.u. of their other half’s name. Perhaps you could memorialise what happened in poetry but I don’t know if you’re very RT. At least Molotover. Try not to be bitter towards her Cossacktually that would be a bad idea, though not entirely biTsar.

So profile says you're 32 but you talk like you guys both were in college recently. Is that your real age, or were you late to college..?
I just ask because there's a big difference between dating when you're college aged vs 30's. I had a relationship like you described when I was 22, and felt the way you felt when it ended, but the reality is we were young and not ready no matter how much it hurt.
If you're 30's, it's different. Here's the thing.. you didn't want kids and marriage. If you did you would have done it. It always hurts once they're gone, and you can't have what you want, but you could have been equally miserable being locked down into a situation you wanted to avoid. There's no saying she wouldn't have broken up with you, divorced you, etc, even if she didn't study abroad.
Time heals all. Situation like yours it can easily take a year or two for those wounds to really heal. I will say, relationships like you described don't come often. I've dated a bunch, had girlfriends, but meeting someone you genuinely click with, can be around 24/7, feel yourself with, doesn't come often.

You're right, I didn't think I wanted those things. But at this point, knowing everything I know now, and having felt the pain of losing her, I do want marriage. I would marry her tomorrow if I could. And with the kids, I still feel rather unsure, but I was ready to do that for her. I was ready to give her everything and do anything to make her happy. I don't know if I would've ended up miserable in the end, but with the love we shared, I don't think so. At worst, I think I would've be fairly happy, with some complaints and regrets. And isn't that normal? But I don't think I would ever be miserable with her, no matter what the circumstances.
You're right, time heals all. And maybe I'll find a way to forget about her in a few years (though I doubt it). But like you said, these relationships just do not come by very often. I loved my previous girlfriends, but they don't even come close to this one. I just did not connect with them on the same level. Likewise, every girl I've dated since has paled in comparison. I might never meet a girl like this again. And if so, then I'll just have to live with this painful regret for the rest of my life. It was always going to be a tough decision, which is why I never could pull the trigger in either direction, but then I ran out of time and she made the decision for me. And I never thought I would lose her completely, but she felt the need to completely cut me off so she could commit herself 100% to her new love. Now I have nothing.
Thanks for the post though bro, and repped. Are you still searching for that type of relationship too? Have you let one (or multiple) get away?

Girl - Uh, you nailed it. Damn. That hurts to read.
Me - No. More like alright enough fukking around, that's my girl, it's time to start seeing if I can get some assassins past Putin's bodyguards

And being a lifelong academic means you have delayed maturity I’m afraid

You're right about the lifelong academic part, I've never really had to grow up. I still live like a student, basically. Cuz I am one. This process is dragging me into adulthood.
With the mom, she probably feels like I creeped on her daughter. That might be more accurate. Even though the daughter was the one that came after me.

And if not, at least you phucking learned something. A lot of sloots only value money, and they claim to respect knowledge, but they don't. (As you can see from Rabbit's post.) They talk down to you because they are dumb and bitter about having to work chit jobs. They will never understand the importance of the pursuit of knowledge, and they will continue to struggle with basic ideas that were discovered centuries ago.
Because the vast majority of sloots are intellectually inferior, they respect only shiny things and the ability to hook men who can provide these things. It was a strategy that worked well for them in the past. Historically, sloots rarely had the opportunity to pursue knowledge. They weren't allowed to become professors not too long ago. It's in their genes to respect only shiny things and look for the best provider. Don't beat yourself up.
But listen....she is not your girl. She cucked you. She's banging Chadimir. It's over. Stop thinking about her. Stop beating yourself up. And stop letting Rabbit femtroll you with her "It was your fault!" bullchit. You got cucked dude. She left you for somebody else. That means she doesn't love you.
Like I said before...stop letting this kunt live rent free in your head. You say she didn't bang Chadimir. Let's think about this for a second. She banged you and didn't marry you. She lives with Chadimir. She is marrying Chadimir. She's already violated the terms of her religion with you. It's not hard to conclude that she is probably banging Chadimir. She wouldn't tell you if she did. She would obviously lie and say it's nothing serious. Also, knowing sloots, she probably banged him the first week she was there lmao. When a girl says she is talking to or seeing someone it usually means she is phucking him. If she says it's nothing serious, it means she is casually phucking him or BJs only. If she mentions him a lot, it means she's in love with him. It's really obvious. Sloots think they are so clever, but their behavior is completely predictable and obvious. Men know what's going on, but they turn a blind eye to it out of thirst and love.
She has also probably taken a LOT more dick than you think. A lot of virgins have experimented with anal, and get wild and give BJs. You read stories on here all the time about people getting BJs from randoms. It's a thing. A lot of girls think BJs don't count. Don't think this woman is some perfect person. She cucked you hard. She's a sloot. Her mom's a sloot. They are all sloots.

You female miscers will never understand the wisdom of "sloot gonna sloot."
Just give it time, OP. Once the chemical concentration of the chit making you feel this way subsides, you will see the truth objectively. One day, hopefully, you will find a girl who loves you. But there is also a good chance this will happen to you again. Nature is brutal and cold. Some lose the game and never find true love or settle with a mate. They die alone.
Now all of this being said, since sloots are mostly gold digging goblins, you may want to consider looking into improving your career. Also, you will eventually need to mentally and financially prepare yourself for having children. If you work on these two things, you will be in a much better position, and will get more respect from sloots. But you won't be safe. Even the best get cucked. Sloots are always gonna sloot. Just take this as another loss, and don't dwell. There will probably be many more to come.

This brah's heart has been crushed and you're over here blaming him giving your "tough love" vagina speeches about how he is a loser etc. Phuck off. You're not helping. None of you will understand because if something like this ever happened to you, you'd call up your gfs and cry for 6 hrs, drown yourself in a tub of ben and jerry's, and then bang like 30 Chads on tinder to get over it. It's not so simple for men.
I gave him good advice. If he listens to me, he might make it. If he listens to you, he's just going to keep dwelling on what he supposedly did wrong.
Anyway, I'm sick of coming in here and trying to knock some sense into you, OP. I told you to ignore the screeching harpies and concentrate on mentally detaching yourself from this sloot.
Stop thinking about her. Her perspectives are irrelevant. Her feelings are irrelevant. Focus on bettering yourself and improving your prospects in the future. Don't blame yourself. Don't second guess yourself. That's what betas do, and remember that females like the ones ITT are constantly going to try to make you beta, and make you take the blame. If your T levels are above soyboy, you will see exactly what they are doing. Sloots are always gonna sloot.
Channel the feelings you have into lifting, bettering your career, and becoming a stronger person. Don't second guess yourself. Don't live in regret. There are too many variables to try to determine what could have been. Chalk it up to a loss, and keep moving forward. You weren't wrong. You are what you are, and the sloot didn't love you for who you are. She's a kunt, and is not worth your energy. Try to find someone better. It's that simple.
And that's all I have to say ITT.

You already lost this one. You like comparing loses and defeat so why not consider your life a war.
You lost this battle but the war goes on. But not with her.
Accept this defeat, give up on her but don't give up on yourself. Take this defeat as a lesson to assess your life goals. You will surely encounter this issue again when you go for another serious relationship so you need to know where you stand. Did this experience change your priorities and goals, etc?
AND assuming she takes you back and got married, do you think your marriage will last considering your original goal is not have kids? It ended when she went away. Just try to accept it. That's where you start.

****ing hell man, you're studying for a PHD and you're this ****ing dense about what is happening? She is NOT your girl, you don't own her - it was just your turn. You're naive as hell if you believe that her being a Catholic means she wasn't over in Russia hoping to meet a guy. I speak from personal experience of being that guy the girl meets when she's abroad.
You were 100% correct in not marrying her - you were not ready for that, you cannot be coerced or blackmailed into it and so it was the right thing to split up. What you are now feeling is jealousy because she's replaced you but you haven't found someone new yet, and it seems you lack options.
Understand this - what a woman says and what she does are two different things which bear no relation to each other. She is living on her emotions, not her logic, and the world is filtered through her feelings every day. The medium is the message: she's moved on and is going to marry someone else, if she felt the same way about you as you do her, she'd be with you now. No excuses.
Pick yourself up and move on too or you will waste your life pining over something that will not happen.

At first, that was true, but the she started dating the Russian guy a few months later and it was all downhill after that. He helped her cope at first and I guess she decided she loved him by the end. I got replaced

Shutting this down.
The extreme negativity, mysogany, hate, and pure idiocy a lot of you "men" post here daily truly makes me cringe Irl.
The reality here is: OP found a woman he loves and wanted to marry. Did it in an unconventional venue, and was a success. Good for him! Don't be such a negative ******* for the sake of beig a dick...
The insane amount of comments degrading women also has to stop. I'll begin mass banning for those comments when I see them. So knock it off.
OP has more life experience than the vast majority of the misc, with the average age being around 22, and knows his relationship better than anyone here. Who the fuk are you to tear him down? Get a life. Truly.
OP. I wish you the best of luck. It sounds like you've found a winner.

That's better than most. She's not a sloot, bro. Not all girls are the same. This one was pretty unique. She's an English major. While everybody else was doing stupid chit, she grew up reading Shakespeare, Austen, and Keats. She's a good girl.lmao @ femtrolls in here defending the girl
You aren't helping him get past this.

The female perspective is helpful, because most of us in here look at things completely differently, and that's from a man's point of view. But when I talk to you, it's almost like I'm talking to her. It's eerie.
I should've came to you for advice 3 years ago.

Sounds like you messed up OP, by the way you are talking in this thread.
The worst thing that can happen to you...... is you live the rest of your life haunted by "What If?" and you die alone and unhappy.
She left you cause she realized you would never commit to marriage.
Sounds like you love her....... so you better go find her and stop the marriage to the russian guy now. Fight for her.
I don't care if they are engaged and about to get married in 2 days. You fly your ass out there and stop the wedding by telling her the truth. You were scared of marriage, blah blah blah, but you realize now that you cannot live without her and you will marry her right now at this moment., etc
Even if she says no and still marries the russian guy..... at least you can sleep at night and live the rest of your life knowing you TRIED to get her back when you still had a chance.

You don't want to accept the truth. Truth is that she stopped loving you, and she fell for this other guy. Look, she might not be a slut, but there is a high probability that she lied to you and kept you as a backup. She wouldn't agree to marry this guy if she didn't love him. She has honestly probably slept with him too. You need to move on because she has. You cannot invest your entire emotional state and security as a man into women. I am not saying Rabbit is wrong. Her points about how you are a bad candidate for marriage/beta providing are spot on, but the thing is that you shouldn't care about that. You are a man. You need to focus on bettering yourself. You cannot dwell on your ex gf's perspective. She is gone. She is not yours, and she never pledged herself to be yours. Yeah, you had a chance. But you weren't ready to get married. If she really loved you, she would have waited. You know that. At some point, she lost interest and found someone else. You have to move on. Go lift, clear your head, and keep living YOUR life. Stop dwelling on the past, and stop blaming yourself. These females, while offering insight into the mentality of your ex gf and her mom, will make you second guess yourself and lose faith in your potential. You are better than this, and you can be better, but don't ever think you weren't good enough for your ex. On the contrary, she proved that she wasn't good enough for you.I appreciate you dude. You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has cucks, and those cucks have to be awared by men with high T. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Rabbitjb? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for your lost gf and you curse Chadimir. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that your gf leaving you, while tragic, probably saved you from a life being with someone who didn't love you. And my advice, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that board. You need me on that board. We use words like "sloot", "Chad", "cuck". We use these words as the backbone of a life wasted posting something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very luls that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide them! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way, moving on to bang new sloots and live your life without her. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up some weights, and phucking press. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think that sloot was like!
But srsly...

Yeah it is your fault bro
Not that you can do anything about it in retrospect...but yeah you could’ve changed the outcome if you’d committed before you destroyed the relationship
Sorry ...but you will get over it, she isn’t the only one ..just learn and get out of your ivory tower once in a while

Yes, my life goals have changed. Sure, I still have the same career goals and I want to continue my traveling and adventuring. But my other goal is to find my best friend and then marry her. My ex was my best friend. I'll have to find a new one.
If she took me back, which she won't, we would have kids. I'd have to put her needs in front of my own. But she would also put my needs over her own. And she did for 3 years. It's kind of a scary thing to put yourself last instead of first, like you're cucking yourself, but I actually think it would have all worked out in the end. But you're right, and it's over now. I missed my chance. At this point, I just have to let her go.

You can't possibly say that it could have changed the outcome. She obviously didn't really love him if she was willing to leave him over this and marry some other dude within a year. She would have probably left him for greener pastures if he ever failed to provide. You are right that she isn't the only one, and he will get over it.Yeah it is your fault bro
