It takes intelligence to get this right. Lots of moderately intelligent women do this but they're not quite clever enough to not over-do it or under-do it. See that all the time.

If you over-do it then everyone knows you're doing it which defeats the purpose of it. Under-do it and half the guys will probably reply to your "dumb" statement with "yep, sounds like a plan!" or "I was wondering the same thing ya know!" because they genuinely agree with what you've just said lol. Hitting the sweet spot is something only actual intelligent people can do.

This one woman in my office over-does it and comes out with stuff so stupid that if she really thought these things she'd barely be able to function. But she's very good at her job so everyone knows she's playing dumb, thus she's thrown away that card and it just gets eye rolls.
