I think it will be a buggy mess, there will be a chit load of buildings you cannot enter and the gameplay will get old quick.

I hope i'm wrong.

Maybe this is some sort of error but on Amazon currently CP2077 is $54CDN for PS4/Xbox but Steam has it going for $80CDN…

Not sure if error or if it's somehow $26 cheaper on console…

I agree. I'd say an RTX 2080 and over would be OPTIMAL, but a 2070 should run it nearly maxed as well.

Dat feel when your new laptop has an RTX 2070. Feels good man


If anyone is interested and looking to get a new laptop, the one I bought was a PowerSpec 1520 from Microcenter. So if you have a Microcenter near you I’d highly recommend looking into it, because apparently (from what I researched) the 1520 is the deal of the century right now. I got it for $1300 and the MSRP is $2000

probably an error, pretty much every triple-A game retails for $80 CDN whether on console or PC.

It was an error, I just checked Amazon again and it's back up to $80CDN.

I shoulda pre-ordered when I saw that and just argued with them to keep that price on my purchase.

I’d say the risk of CDPR releasing a bug-ridden game is minimal, they’d probably just sit on it for longer before release

Would also say the depth of story, characters, and environment will likely be the true strengths of the game as it has been for their previous releases

Well I heard the Witcher story was great but I couldn't get past the **** gameplay so I never made it past the first couple hours of any of those games. I hope this is different.

The shooter aspect is surely the biggest risk. I think they’ll do it justice, but I deff won’t expect them to create a better shooter than developers who have the history / experience in that genre

The focus will be on the role-playing component I’m sure

Story > gameplay for me.

Doesn't matter how great he game play is if there's nothing there to hold my interest in continuing on with it.

I have no doubt the story will keep me hooked, but if the combat becomes repetitive that would suck, but with how many way to go about the game (can do it kill-free if you want) there should be enough ways to mix it up to keep it from becoming bland.

There's quite a bit out there discussing the skill trees, weapon upgrades, and all that jazz, and I think that alone will be fleshed out enough to keep things interesting

If it feels anything like Prey, I'll be happy af. Prey is probably one of my favorite recent games and it's right in that futuristic shooter genre, though obviously different subject matter

I don't see anyone on here "hating" on the game, some people just aren't a complete zealot like you are about it. I've been waiting for this game for a very long time, cyber punk is my favorite genre across the board for TV/movies/novels/games so of course I am hoping this does insanely well, and I love CDPR, but I'm holding off until I see more and get a chance to play it before I start with the "BEST GAME OF ALL TIME IT WILL HAVE NO FLAWS AT ALL" ball gargling that you do.
