It's not a photoshop obviously but it's a random tank, in a random area driving into random mines without any context at all. Then it's just people concluding "lol orcs dumb" without any reason or context at all. Like most battle footage posted.

Nah, you should try to give it another shot and explain how an invading force achieving a 15-20/1 K/D ratio (that's apparently a thing) is still diking around after 8 months.

600k left. Intention was to draw to fire. 80% of the war has been artillery advancing on the line. And like I, the Joint Chiefs stated hundreds UAF a day were dying on an ordinary day. Russia has easy fired 10-15k cruise missiles and 30 million artillery rounds (lol @ 1m DPRK rumor) at Ukrainian forces. Now add flying doritos and suicide attacks towards the firing lines, collapsible fortified Russian lines, or a retreating Russian line that will not thus far entertain a mass casualty skirmish.

So I pay very close attention to the battlefield and have gathered an assessment of likely casualties.

Again I don't have a need to be right. I state what I think I know from doing this. History will tell the numbers. I think it is an absolute slaughter.

What's your take besides un ugh, Ukraine won ground over the last month?

You're by far the most astute poster on this thread. You're one of the few posters adding anything of value. I learnt a lot reading your comments and I spent years following the Syrian war & other conflicts aroudn the globe.

The Syrian war reddit was a treasure trove of analysis and honestly this conflict has basically been spammed by teamsports ukranian supporters. Very disappointing.

Pro Trump message. I think he can be a moran.

Pro Russia? Absolutely not. This is a force on force assessment. We'd obliterate the Russians force on force.

Wanting the Ukrainians to do well is just a want. It has not and will not ever happen. Russia for all of its downside as a nation has a professional, competent, and experienced fighting force. Stating a fact isn't Pro Russian. It's a fact. Russia has been drawing these men in and poor policy and misguided hope is doing nothing but getting these men killed by the tens of thousands. It's really a shame and I mean that.

Well you're still a fuk face and the general in charge of that theatre is now in charge of the Ukrainian war effort.

It's the guy/strategy us military folks all feared would take place from day 1 and why we looked wrong. Russia had everyone on our heels with what they were up to.

That's not nice.

The Syrian war was very complex and most of the fighting was done by the SAA, Hebollah and Iranian forces.

I think the Russians taught the SAA war strategy though. You can see their stratgems were Russian by nature.

Now we get to see them again, but I think the Russians are weaker without the brute force of Iran and Hezbollah.

I foresaw a similar pattern with Donbas Militia and later Wagner as well as Chechens in Mauripol. Same or similar strategy but Ukraine was too well fortified in the east.

I'll say that unlike US/NATO strategy, fighting was localized and was quite surprised only specific military structure was targeted.

For the sake of history, I really want to know why the war was fought this way other than my own speculation that killing UAF was the aim.

You are a low value and low IQ poster. Srs

I have original thought, analysis, and concern regarding this war. I pay attention out of necessity. This is the point where we see if this will be a world War. There is an actor or even Russia pushing it. If it's a trap, we may already be in it.

Quote me where I said I blindly believe memcop's numbers. I just showed in interest in his methods and asked him how he came up with the numbers. I don't know if they're correct. I highly doubt we'd ever get an official count even closely resembling the real numbers. One thing I know for sure is that if we take Ukraine's official numbers and Russia's official numbers the truth 100% lies somewhere in between those numbers. Both sides have an incentive to lie.

I do think he has a tendency to respond with the "do your own research" crap instead of giving more info though. Although that also might depend on the poster he's responding to and if he wants to bother entertaining them. There's a lot of dumb chithead trolls in this thread.

Which strategy, the collapsible front line?

The US NATO Strategy seems to be using targetted high tech equipment and aggresive movement sagainst weak points.

The problem the Americans will have is all their battle doctrines are based on being the much strogner force. In this instance they are weaker.

They also udnerestimate the Russian forces imo.

Bakhmut looking worse for Ukraine by the day. 3 sided attack currently on going. They need to surrender but it looks like they are putting up a hell of a resistance.

30k troops estimated there versus a swelling Russian force Wagner, 3rd army Corp, Chechens, and 1st tank bn.

Lyman currently stacked against as well. Coming days will tell. Chechens, militia, and a combo of 143(?) Motor Rifle Brigade w/artillery.

I'm not seeing the hold and realign as regiment forces yet

What's the deal with his whole Wagner group. Just a bunch of mercenaries being paid by Russia to fight the war for them or is there something extra I'm missing?

Shoving partner forces in the back towards the line. Logistics, planning, and artillery from the rear. It's why Russian casualties are low and matched my estimate. They haven't been fighting.

nothing else to say.
Meduza is a Russian website that got blacklisted by Kremlin because they dared to say something negative about the "special military operation". Because that's how things work in a Russian sh*thole and there's no such thing as freedom of speech. In Russia If you don't push Putin's propaganda then you get banned immediately, if not arrested or even assassinated (look up Boris Nemtsov).

I guess you like this sort of thing, similar to how conservatives unfortunately get treated by Big Tech and FBI in America.

So yeah, "Make the Kremlin Sad".... perfectly said.

They are the equivalent of blackwater. SF retirees head the group. Look into all the African leadership they supported paid by Russia for a little history. They stand up and train many militaries, hired to prevent coups, etc.

They have strong utility and are a very professional fighting force. No razzle dazzle, just fighters. Have their own tanks, air, and artillery. Paid a lot. Don't fuk around.
