Let’s start with inflation. Over Biden’s near-four years in office, inflation is up roughly 20%. Under Trump, inflation was up 8%. By the way, Biden did NOT inherit inflation from Trump. In his last four months in office the inflation rate was

Oct. 20—1.2%
Nov. 20—1.3%
Dec. 20—1.5%
Jan. 21—1.4%

Then, 18 months later, under Biden, it was 9.1%.

No comparison at all. S.hitter inherited great numbers and quickly destroyed things... (and raped kids)

Hold a piece of paper along the long upward line in Ecto's latest FRED graph, see where it lands where the graph ends on the right. It's off the chart. In other words, if the US jobs market were doing as well as it was before Democrats shut down the economy during Covid, we should have about 2.5 million jobs more than we have.

And that FRED chart doesn't reflect the BLS admitting 818K less jobs have been created than it had been reporting. Nor does it reflect revisions over the last several months. The graph is 1 million too high. This means the graph doesn't have updated data and there are about 3.5 million less jobs than we should have. Covid started killing off jobs in February 2020, so 3 years and 1 month into Trump's presidency there were a lot more new jobs added than during 3 years and 7 months of Biden.

Even though Biden-Harris let in 10 million prime working age illegals, more than several administrations beforehand combined.

I think the big key here is that Biden managed to perform a soft landingwhile being in one of the most tumultuous time periods in recent history. Frankly, Trump's growth during 2016-2020 was abysmal compared to what it could have been given he had been handed an easy layup of a time period.

Biden has had to deal with two wars, Trumpflation (which began around April 2021 from Trump's policies, before Biden even did anything), beating covid, etc. Even with all of that, he STILL managed to reign in inflation and maintain all time highs in the stock market (which Trump said would crash).
