That's not how democratic systems work; certainly not the Canadian system. In Canada, you don't vote the for Prime Minister, you vote for a member of Parliament in your riding.

Four arrests so far. Lots of trucks apparently leaving. Cops are not messing around, one guy resisted and got tuned up.

And the bouncy castle has been deflated.

I live in Canada dip****. In our system, you vote the for the party, not the person. The liberals then choose who they want to lead them. They had already chosen Trudeau as he was prime minister already. So a vote for the liberals was a vote for Trudeau.

And yes. If you support evil, you are responsible for that support.

People who voted liberal in the last federal election here knew exactly what type of person Trudeau was and they voted for him anyway.

They are complicit in his evil.

Our system is based on voting for the candidate you feel will best represent your riding in Parliament.

If you think you're entitled to harass people who put a different color sign on their lawn during elections, you don't understand democracy.

Simply moving, damaging, or tampering with campaign signs is an offense.

This is one major criticism I have of our system and wish that we could vote for our MP and PM separately. I was in Jack Layton's riding when he was alive and it was a no brainer to vote for him to get into Parliament, but I didn't want him as the PM.

which is basically voting for the prime minister. how many people actually phucking know the names of their MP in their local riding let alone what sort of politics they have or their accomplishments? if it has liberal or conservative in front of their name, that is who they are voting for, not the MP's name or who they are.
