If this forum ever gets fixed I'll need to create a thread for the companies filing bankruptcy in just the last few weeks.

BurgerFi International, which includes Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings and of course BurgerFi itself just filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. While this is a bankruptcy for the corporate owned stores, not the franchised out locations, it's an ominous sign for the chain as a whole.

Kind of a shame. There aren't a lot of fast food joints with good beer on tap. Only a matter of time for the franchise locations to go insolvent, though it might take a while until you see them disappear. Some locations will be closing ASAP.

MTI trucking company out of Illinois just shut down immediately. Part of their freight is carrying mail for the US Postal Service, so if you or your family aren't getting packages through USPS that were expected, it could be sitting on docks at any number of locations operated by MTI.

Summary of bankruptcies this week worth mentioning:

1. Big Lots
2. BurgerFi
3. MTI Trucking
4. LL Flooring

That's at least 500 locations closing between the stores/restaurants immediately, another thousand closing in the near future. With MTI Trucking that's going to slow a lot of goods delivery with 480 trucks immediately off the road, including slowing US Mail. And yes, all of these were announced in less than a week. Who's next? Obviously more national and regional pharmacies and grocery stores are on the chopping block due to theft. Department stores will close as soon as they manage to liquidate through the Christmas season.

The issue now is hiring has slowed to a snail's pace. About 40% of all job listings are 'ghost jobs' (fake) to pretend companies are doing better than they are. So good luck to the newly laid off. The Biden-Harris led solution will be to keep hiring people into government jobs at the pace only seen in deep recessions. That's been happening for all of 2023-24, with 20-25% of new jobs being government. Above 10% is a recession signal.

All this talk is propaganda. There's no real data that proves anything. All these experts are biased at best and making sh!t up as they go. No one really knows anything and the majority of people talking are actually incompetent and grifting.

All that matters are the swing states and the independents. There's no clear data supporting whether the debate actually helped them decide or not.

If anything the debate was a huge waste of time and another one isn't going to benefit any party, unless they come out of left field and set them up horrible.

She never provided a link in her IG post to get people to vote. I was like what the hell are they talking about?

Unless someone can show me what link Swift provided for people to go register, I don't believe.

For anyone actually stupid enough to want to vote for Camel Toe just because a wealthy pop singer said to, it's almost like they deserve to have a continuation of the misery the current administration has wrought the last 3.5 years.

I mean sure, they can't afford groceries and gas while their towns are being invaded by hordes of 3rd world trash, but Tay Tay likes it!

@fitnessislife. I read Taylor's post again. She provided a link in her story, not in the actual post. So she did provide a special link. Yeah, that wasn't totally coordinated with Harris campaign beforehand.
