Sounds like most people should be better informed, especially before setting out to harass ridings. People should also realize ridings are won by majority, not complete consensus.

This protest demonstrated that to be false…the protestors were verbally abused and assaulted by “the other side” and none of that happened, the counter protestors ended up arrested actually.

But, as you say, society is tricky like that…especially if you are honest about it.

There's a Google spreadsheet that has over 100 documented crimes so far including assault. But yes, peaceful protest.
