What do you fellas think about Canada allowing Chinese EVs ???

They're going to drop the tariff on them from 106% to just 6% If you havent been living under a rock you're provably aware about chinese cars overall ev or not. They simply mogg any us brand out of the water they're selling some really good cars at affordable prices. if they were allowed in the US they would decimate the american brands.

It would be an interesting loophole registering it in Canada, then driving it to the USA.

I feel like Canada would get invaded after Greenland if that happened though.

I find it funny that several million TDS boomers in Canada thought that Poilievre would sell out the country to Trump, so instead they voted for someone who sold them out to Xi, while promising that he would use his magic banking resume superpowers to "handle" Trump.

Then again in 2015 they all voted for a bisexual drama teacher who promised them the world over one of the most internationally respected politicians of the time, but instead turned Canada into a chithole in 10 years. So I can't really feel sorry for them learning no lessons from that debacle, and will laugh again every time more news comes out of Carney screwing them over.

Yeah no other country has lifted more people out of poverty other than china. They have lifted 800 million people out of poverty during the last 4 decades. No other country has been as successfull as china.

As of today almost 80% of chinese millenials are home owners while most Western millenias are rentcels.

If trump has said over and over again that trade with canada is irrelevant, that usmca is worthless etc. What else could they do?

That was true 10-15 years ago. No other country on earth has invested in clean renewable energy more than china. They now dominante solar, wind, Hydro and nuclear energy. Air pollution in beijing has dropped almlost 70% in the last 15 years for example, mostly due to electrification and policy.

Trump only said this after it became clear Canada's liberal government wasn't going to remove the restrictions and regulations they wanted it to.

Where are you getting that stat thar says that 70% of chinese people live in poverty? You know youre pulling that out of your ass. In reality poverty rates in china are 10-12% depending who you ask which is the same as in the US.
