I enjoy my Mazda CX5, its been a solid car for the last 4 years. Best part is that it doesn't have touchscreen and it has a non cvt transmission

I was thinking about getting one but after driving one as a rental for a week, it might be a little too tight in the driver's seat.

You're in luck. They make an American variant for more husky individuals such as yourself. It's called the CX50.

I'm probably gonna get a GX for my wife. She wants a G Wagon, but that's a bad investment. Not that any car is a good investment.

Luxury cars are cringe unless it’s a tax write off but I think you’ll have a hard time explaining to the irs you need a g wagon to pull your food truck

A 6,000+ lb GVWR vehicle can be a strong business deduction because it may avoid the normal passenger vehicle depreciation caps. A G-Wagon can qualify as a heavy SUV, but it still has to be used over 50% for business, documented, and placed in service. Section 179 and bonus depreciation are separate tools. The IRS doesn’t care that it’s “luxury” emotionally, but it absolutely cares about business use, GVWR, deduction limits, and records.

So you can essentially depreciate the entire G-Wagon in year one for the business. That can be a huge tax advantage depending on the business's finances. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Why would I need to pull my food truck? My employees just drive it directly, it's a truck.

Yeah if you have a business tax write offs are based but for most normies just trying to flex a luxury vehicle is money that could have made you more wealthy
