true man. thanks for the post anyways
but yea, i don't drink, smoke etc i save literally every source of income i get, treat people right (i like to treat people like i treat my parents but im no push over and if someone doesn't deserve it i don't give it to them)
lately i've also noticed that the superficial things (muscles, looks) don't really hold much weight in the long run. i think reaching liberation and content with one's self is more fulfilling and satisfying

Thanks OP for all the wisdom. I've read all! Some things are never too late to be learned...even at 30! I realized that life doesn't unfold as planned most of the time! repped!

repped OP
i put in my 2 weeks today. i am on the road 90% of the time right now (industrial automation, plc, autocad, etc). absolutely hate the travel. the job is hit or miss depending what im working on and right now IT SUCKS.
caring about cycle time for the millisecond and analyzing charts. i realized there is just no way i can continue doing this. i can see most of the people that i am working with that their soul has completely left there body and they are just a shell collecting a paycheck. i will not let that happen to me.
found a local job and put my 2 weeks in today. boss was pissed and thinks im making a mistake but i know whats best for me and what will make me happy.

my parents are 52 and sometimes i wonder if they think of the time they have left.
its mostly me just being afraid of them getting older, hate seeing that.

how many hours of sleep did you had when you were in your 20s? I am taking summer classes right now and working part-time. I have a inner feeling of "hustle the max" since I am in the pinnacle of my youth. every time I sleep a lot longer than I should, I feel bad for wasting like 2-4 hours extra than i should because I could of have spent that lifting weights or doing Homework.
