He's right though, the whole western world has been using "quantitative easing" aka money printing to repay borrowings for years. The only countries that have to default are those without control of monetary policy, usually smaller countries that use the dollar. Or if a country has so much inflation it's less painful to default than to continue printing money.

But it's not a good thing to have a devalued currency so it introduces as many problems as it solves. The only real solution is to stop borrowing but telling socialists to not borrow and spend is like telling a dog not to **** in the park.

Some people commented on money printing.. The reason why this didn't actually hit anything is because, the m2 created didn't suffice with a decently high MZM Velocity. Which means the money isn't being used.. Paying back the actual debt (all of it) via money printing would put that money in circulation as opposed to just interest sitting at the Fed thus causing actual inflation.
