3 years into lifting I was ~180-185lbs. Years later I'm in the 220ish area. If the 40lbs I've gained since is the 20% portion of my gains, that means the initial 80% of my gains would dictate I was only 20-25lbs before I began lifting?

Most people don't do it right since the start

Most people don't track their calories/macros

Most people don't understand full range of motion and time under tension

Most people make mistakes and lots of them

Also, most people don't bulk for three straight years so they can reach their max potential. If you spend different periods cutting, maintaining, and bulking it will take long than three years, trust me.

started lifting at 15 in high school. Grew from 5'8" to 6'3" from sophomore into junior year. Played Defensive end and lifted 5x a week. I was chasing the anorld look and my chest was always huge but it soon dawned to me I couldn't hit that chit natty. I wasn't upset but it opened my eyes to all the fake as fukk "nattys" who are on that j00sy time. It was disappointing I gave up lifting for a few years in college but im back at it again. I want the 250 lean look at my height but i would not give up my natty card or jeopardize my health for it.

90% of the time any physique that looks like it would astonish men, is not natural. And those physiques tend to be people's goals.
If it astonishes people who regularly lift, then there is a huge chance they're on gear.

Can't remember how I felt really. But on top of that I don't ever really remember having one person's physique in mind that I wanted to look like, there are countless I admired, but none I modelled after.

I guess my look on it all is I want to see how far I can get, personally. I enjoy lifting. It's my productive hobby with nothing but good benefits. I want to get stronger and bigger, while keeping lean. And I'm gonna ****in do it.

Call it coping. I don't ****ing care at the end of the day.

lol this

I'd change 3 years of lifting to 5-6 years of lifting

I spent the first year going from skinny-fat to fat as fukkkk cause I never tracked food and just ate all the time + added protein shakes

Then I spent like 6-8 months cutting down

had a few months off because of vacation / injuries

Did not even train my chest properly (was basically front delt pressing) , and skipped almost every leg day (srs)

I'm now like 3 years in and finally have a good base to build off of. Now that I have my nutrition and everything down, and better Mind muscle connection and chit, i'm sure I can gain another 10-15lbs of lean mass in 1-2 years. At that point I'll be like 5'9 175lbs .. and will probably do a cycle srs.

I simply stopped being natty.

I don't see why guys are so afraid of doing what needs to be done to achieve the things they want to achieve.

I won't accept that brah. Show me 2-3 cell tech users with a good hairline. So much of these people try to mask it by wearing hats, growing their hair long and styling it a special way, or shaving it bald. Even chicks have their chit all messed up. Overeem is only person I can think of that doesn't suffer from it. It's not a risk I'm willing to take.

You might as well not eat food then, food builds muscle so that wouldnt be 100% you brah. Don't even get me started on creatine and supps.
