Married geography teacher, 27, SCREAMS as she is jailed for 12 months for having sex with a 16 year old pupil during a six month affair that started when she propositioned him after giving him a lift home

Lauren Cox initiated illicit encounters when she gave the boy a lift home

Affair developed with sexual relations in her car and both of their houses

The 27-year-old, who married in 2014, has been kicked out of marital home

Shouldn't the sentence be 10x worse since as a teacher, adults are legit trusting their kids with their lives. They have a higher responsibility

It is 10x worse, 16 years old is the legal age over there, the only reason she even got prison time is because it was an 'abuse of power' and not a matter of '****philia'.

Yep, double standard or not, the law is the law, if a man gets his life ruined with years in jail for sleeping with a 15yr old girl then the same should happen for a woman sleeping with a 15yr old boy. Dumb seeing these broads get fired or just put on probation for a few months. 12 months isnt even bad compared to what guys get.
