why? because it was believed that humans were smarter than the animals and would know enough to stay out.

it wasnt about child's life vs gorillas life, because the zoo made the appropriate decision at that very moment.

It was about parents or zoos negligence to prevent something like that from even happening in the first place, and that's what everyone's upset about.

I've really read or even heard a story about a Gorilla harming a human being

Was the kid really in danger? Gorillas are incredibly intelligent beings, why would they hurt a defenseless little kid?

because

1) mom is a idiot bish
2) disneyland has better security than the exhibits at a zoo.

this was the zoo's sop for someone getting into an exhibit? Open fire on the animals? what if zookeeper hit kid instead? What if it didn't kill animal and ape went crazy dragging kid?

Zoo and mom were both retards. Another reason why i'll never visit a zoo. Poor Marumbe.

The parent should be fined the amount she would be fined if she had shot the gorilla herself.

Sloots come and go but moms are forever

Get to know your parents: you never know when they'll be gone for good.
Be nice to your siblings: they're your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Enjoy your body: use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it: it's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.

Why is no one talking about the kid falling like a good 20 ft into the cage, being thrown 10 ft in the air, ans being dragged around by the gorilla and surviving it all? Something is up with that kid, I don't trust him...

For those unaware, it would take the child a maximum of a second to climb through the gate into the bushes. The "gate" is basically a hand rail that a kid can climb through at about knee level into bushes that go to about your hip which would disguise the kid even more. After climbing through the gate, the kid would have to crawl 2 feet to fall into the gorilla pit. The entire transition would of taken the kid 3 seconds maximum.

Yes. People don't understand a freaking gorilla.

It can touch you with its softest touch. But compared to our frail bodies. It is a hard touch. Luckily. Children have durable bodies too.

If the gorilla was protecting the child. Imagine if they left it alone and had to go in there to get the child away from it? That gorilla would have went ape shat. The kid would have been killed easily from collateral monkey rage.

This crap isn't rocket science. It's common sense.

Why we need animals in cages anyways. Is beyond me. You can get full HD videos of animals in their natural habitat on youtube for free. Plus learn something about them with a narrator talking.
"Don't be envious when the grass is greener on the other side because you don't know how much crap it took to fertilize that ground.

Are you ready? "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. (John 8:24).

Mom's obviously an idiot and those idiot genes probably passed to offspring (hence climbing into gorilla cage). Thus a 450 lb beast was killed as a result of 2 idiots.

Zoo should sue to garner bishes wages to pay for a replacement gorilla.

The gorilla was just interested in the child. It didn't look aggressive or anything, pretty mild mannered. The gorilla just doesn't realize how strong he is and how delicate the human is.

Obviously you don't take the chance, you shoot the gorilla asap...

If the gorilla wanted to it could have crushed the kids head like a grape.
