I agree with all the games posted being great. They were a thrill for their time.

When I saw the title of the topic, I expected Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I'm feeling satisfied with the 1st post. Ocarina of Time is one of the few games that I think could be a consideration for greatest game of all time. There are a few others, and some of which are mentioned in this topic. Majora's Mask has been my favorite Zelda game over my years of growing up, but now it is pretty much a tie between OOT and MM. OOT is one of those few entries in an entertainment medium that pushes the bar of quality and innovation, and leaves such a lasting impact that it becomes a widely recognized classic to such an extent that even those who never experienced it can not dismiss its wide acclaim. If you want to be a serious reader, or movie viewer, there are certain books and movies that are too much of classics to pass on. OOT is one of several games that are that way for gamers IMO.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of Super Nintendo, and particularly N64 games (the great games of course). What hasn't been mentioned as great games in this topic are Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 1, and Halo 1. Halo 1 and Halo 2 were amazing, but Halo 1 will always be one of my personal favorite games. I also haven't seen Perfect Dark mentioned, or much Metal Gear Solid franchise love, and so I mention them as great games (not so much MGS 2 and MGS 5 as great IMO).

It will always be goat maybe if nintendo stops being *******s and the NX actually turns out to be powerful then we can get a 4k remake they better not change the music though it's the best part.

Knew it was going to be OOT before I entered. Spent countless hours in high school after school got out playing this game, playing for ten hours felt like ten minutes srs. Unbelievable game, so good. Loved Turok too but that was no where near the same level, just a fun dinosaur shooting game.

Came in expecting to tell OP to fuk off...pleasantly surprised, I agree.

My friend had almost every additional item after completing the game (around 100 gold skullatulla's, every heart piece). He told a lie to a few of our friends about me, so when we were all together I deleted his account. I told him to look at the tv just as I was about to hit the delete file button. He lunged at the n64 to turn it off before I could hit delete, but it was too late.

I played a PC DOS version when I was a kid, I remember getting trapped by all these bulldogs with bow & arrows lmao. And the game let you go to any dungeon even if they were difficult af
