Srs tried plumbing, warehouse, hvac and currently in pest contol.. brb working 60-70 hours, brb hard labor so no energy for gym, brb cold as **** or hot as ****, brb slipped disc and most the older guys have messed up backs

I want to go to college, maybe for nursing or maybe a medical assistant of some sort were i can get by in life (maybe 50k a year or so is all i need to be happy). I think my abilities and limitations I'd be better as a LPN or medical aide rather than trying to become a decked out ER registered nurse.

I have a decent amount in savings (around 60k) so i can afford it

Any suggestion misc?

i still don't understand the problem the misc has with trades. both jobs are equally as important as the other.

Up to one hour, usually 6:30-7:30 in the depressed rush hour of tired techs making $17/hour dragging heavy ass equipment, water heaters and hvacs to their company appointment truck.

Nah, they started it. It initially sprouted from the;

"lol if you're still going to college"threads due to the amount of debt most college student plunge themselves into. In these threads the tradesmen would brag about their 80k/year contracted jobs, then STEM folks started firing back about wearing dirty clothes and visiting snap city from the heavy lifting.

I'm a STEM guy. Software developer. Had lunch with friends. Collaborated with a number of different people on a couple of different projects. It's more social than you think.

To be clear, I'm not anti trade. Both my brothers went the union carpenter route. Decent life. I've worked as a waiter, pizza man, garbage man, maintenance worker, video store manager, hardware store clerk before finishing school and getting into development. Wouldn't go back to the blue collar life. My brother has been in the union for over 15 years and would trade places with me in a second. It's great when you're young. Over 40, not so much.

I do not know one single tradie that is fat. We all are fit including myself. It do not even make sense. When I worked in an office building I see more fat pigs then entire life in trade.
