I actually have, since I've gone caving before. And I paid to do it.

No, because I'm claustrophobic. I don't think I'd do it even to crawl my way to freedom if I were trapped somewhere and it were my only way out...okay, maybe I would in that scenario.

In most cases you can not go backward. When you go forward yours body go thinner from walls pushing at yours body. If you try to go backward yours body get bigger as bottom of yours stomach get bigger from push against it. Happen to me many time at job sites - easy move in but fight to go out.

Had to crawl through a 15 foot vent during hell week. Didn't know where it let out or if you could even get out the other side. Thought we all might be sleeping in there and was starting to freak out inside me head. Could never do this.

There is a point where you can not move back if you push to strong forward in tight space.

As a cave diver, I'd tunnel this without a doubt for 100k. Dive in caves underwater sometimes 100+ feet down 200-400 feet back for fun. But I couldn't fit in that hole...

Do you have something smarter in life to do then caving under water. For example paint your house or install tails in bathroom?

Nope. Probably couldn't do it even it was 100 yards. I never used to be claustrophobic, but recently such things make me cringe. I have zero issue with day to day stuff, but that close of a squeeze, I would rather swallow a suicide pill and just LDAR.

respect, very brave and props for doing something you enjoy although very dangerous as well.

now imagine this happening to you in a dark tunnel under the earth with no one there to help you. Once you realize that if you get stuck you will die a slow and painful death, your heart starts racing like crazy, you try to breathe in as you're short of air but the tight cave wrapped around your body will not let you expand your ribcage to do that. You start to feel more and more dizzy from being nervous and short of air until at one point you can just feel yourself passing out, knowing that you will never see sunlight or your family again
