what should i be paying for a used 1911?
I wouldn't buy a non-gov't size 1911 as a first 1911, let alone one with a bull barrel, as those are known to be finicky.
I'm seeing a few of those go for under $600 with night sights.
Personally, I'd pass. Get a 5"model from a reputable brand, learn the ins-and-outs of the weapon and then go from there.
Prices for 1911s varies wildly and the saying about getting what you pay for generally holds true.
1911s are NOT guns you want to cheap out on. If you're after a price point on a .45 ACP, look to a Glock 30S or 36.
If what I've posted offends you, please feel free to leave your need for validation below.

i bought my FS springfield stainless blingballer 1911 with a buttload of chip mccormick and mecgar mags for 650 iirc.

I don't think i'd buy a non full size 1911, theyre a novelty as is and the only reason for a non full size is to carry...and who the fuk carries a 1911 in 2016

It's a never ending process man. No matter how far you go with it, it feels like it's never enough.

But that mentality is ok, because it serves as motivation.

How do you feel eating a clen diet? I've had some people try to tell me it wasn't worth it because they love donuts and pizza too much or because they get cramps and shaky without their junk food. Right now I'm trying to lower carbs just slightly and increase cardio for the fat burn. I have a pantry of strictly clen food to jump on if I think I want to, but I haven't decided to yet.

Morning, gheybois.

Gotta drive the kids down to the Air Force Academy in a little bit. The high schools out here have a "community service" requirement where they need to do 30 hours before they graduate. There's a lady we know who runs a soccer tournament/tryout for a state association at the academy over the weekend and the kids get credit if they help work it. So they will be working today, tomorrow and Monday.

Wife and kids are getting a hotel room down in the Springs for tonight to make the turnaround easier for tomorrow when they work.

I need a backpack or range bag that won't fall into 10,000 pieces on me.

Must be multicam. Must be purchaseable from Amazon.

If backpack, should also double as something that would not be totally ridiculous to wear in public.

Begin.

Clen dieting has been good so far. Down 5lbs in 2 weeks. I don't get the shakes (lack of carbs.....), but do get pulsing down my nerves if I'm buzzing on PWO. When I inhale all of the way it's like a twitch that fires down to my hands and feet. That's the only thing I've noticed. I'll eat this way for 6 weeks total and then take a break for a few weeks. Likely add EC to my diet again after that.

I've had many bags, this back pack is my favorite.

Mainly does the precision rifle stuff now. Holds everything well and doubles as a nice pack to use for stability.

Totally ok with wearing a multicam backpack in public. Totally not ok with it being a monster designed for living in the woods for a month. Bonus if it has a readily accessible VP9-sized pocket.

New toy day.

Heading down to the proshop later. Need to pick up my P320. Probably coming back with an MCX too. Sold my MA compliant AR when I moved out of state and need to replace it with something in 5.56. Then I start signing up for some classes at Sig's academy.

Knock off of the same thing. This bag will outlast me. It has been to ~15 shooting matches, camping, hiking, EDC....not a stitch loose. Can't speak for the Condor of course.

I'm on my second one. My first was a bullhide acquired in 2010 or 2011 or so that lost stiffness (TWSS?) after many years, partly because I never treated it and I got it soaking wet in lying prone in running water...so I got a new horsehide earlier this year.

Good buys.
