If a 70+ score on Rotten Tomatoes count, then the new Ghostbusters. And I haven't even seen it myself.

Otherwise, probably Gladiator. Seen it once and that was enough.

No Country for Old Men

Seriously, the movie could of been great if it wasn't for its ambiguous and anti climatic ending.

This. Have no idea why this movie is so hyped everywhere. Was bored out of my mind.
Also pretty much all comic book movies are grossly overrated. What the hell was so great about things like Guardians of Galaxy? Barely average movie with the cheesiest ending you can imagine.

Schindler's List - work on your accent Liam. Ruined the whole movie.

In Bruges - Didn't find it funny at all

Superbad - other than the cock drawings it was average.

Bourne Movies - hold the camera still for **** sake I have no idea what's going on

Avengers - I hate the idea of universe building. I'm sick of all these superheroes gate crashing each other's movies.

Anyways, mine would probably be Vertigo, it's considered one of the greatest films of all time and I just wasn't into it. Rear Window is way better.

Edit: I've got another one. Blade Runner. One of the most beautiful looking yet boring movies ever.
I have just broken ever thing in the room. Watch it again, srs. Its a masterpiece.

Every Nolan batman movie, on the other hand, stinks to high heaven.

Btw when you put something in quotes, it usually means you are quoting what someone said. He never mentioned anything about plot holes

i quite liked it until the scene of spewing up blood. of course it being a QT movie you expected some sort of twist,,, but i just didn't think it suited the movie. it could have been much better. i hope KR makes more westerns though. that bone tomahawk movie was good.

i'll add interstellar, gravity as being let downs and i love scifi

Blade Runner. Not many people would appreciate it on first viewing which is why it was a flop on release. Just has so many levels with the ultimate payoff, perhaps its visually dated now but sooner or later it's going to be regarded as the ultimate sci fi, if it isn't already.

Vertigo didn't do a lot for me either, just think Hitchcock generally hasn't aged well

Casino has some entertaining scenes, I watched it again recently but it gets so bogged down with Stone arguing, taking jewels, running off, goes back, argues again, runs off again,..yawn. Not up with his best (King of Comedy, Color of Money, Raging Bull)

Let me take a crack at this -

I dont think he really knew about the Ghosts till he came upon them, not to mention, Aragorn was running away from his destiny as the king ans the heir of Isidulr. The ghosts would have fukken wrecked him had he gone in there without anything BUT the re-made swrod of Isildur which was gifted to him by Elrond because it was proof that he was the one true king and the ghosts would have no choice but to obey him.

Also he only contracted teh Ghosts to help fight in the battle of minas tirith. So he honored his word and let them pass on, he never told them to stay back and fight that last battle to distract Sauron's eye so that Frodo would have more time.

The Eagles iirc werent just as susceptible to falling to the Rings power thats why they didnt use them... And iirc the eagles are bit of *******s and dont really come help just because some random wizard or human told them to.. .They're apparently really revered and respected creatures in middle earth.

I actually feel the exact opposite about Blade Runner. It's one of the prettiest movies I've ever seen: set design, cinematography (both camera-work and lighting), and the special effects hold up extremely well. The problem is that the plot, acting, and pacing make it the most boring thing I've ever seen (barring Knight of Cups), and I saw the twist coming a mile away. I tried watching it once and got halfway through before I had to turn it off, then finally made myself watch it because it's such an important movie. I want to like it but I just can't.

Dial M for Murder and Rear Window hold up really well, besides clearly being filmed on studio lots.

I agree that his bickering with Ginger makes the movie 20 minutes too long, but it's amazing in every other respect. Easily better than The King of Comedy, which I like.

Nightcrawler

Found the movie depressing. Didn't like it mainly because I couldn't relate to any of the characters and the story seemed mundane. I do see why people would like it but just didn't understand the hype that it got on misc. Lead is a fantastic actor though.

Only two that come to mind.

It's one of those films that I just get sucked into every time. It still looks great, I think the cast is perfect, but it's the dialogue that makes it so re watchable for me. No wasted words at all, from a screenwriting perspective I can't hardly think of a thing I would do differently..(yes struggling amateur screenwriter)

Huh. Well I guess the world takes all kinds, again this the exact opposite of how I feel. If I was someone who would have movies playing in the background while they're doing something else I'd probably watch it all the time but it just doesn't grab me enough to sit through.
