"Jere" would autocorrect to "here" unless Jeremy has been used more often. Sorry man but there's pretty much no way that could be a typo. Even if you intentionally go to type jeremy, it's not in the dictionary by default so it wouldn't autocorrect to it. Not only that but it's capitalized because it autocorrected to it and it's a name used frequently.

Also, typically crazy neighbors are pissed off because their annoying neighbors are doing something wrong. I'm going to assume you're biased in assuming that your gf's family doesn't do anything to bother this guy.
