The world is filled with energies. Opposing, complementary energies. If he's the feminine one in the relationship, then you'd be the dominant, masculine type. Females who cannot fill that role - the relationship fails.

And personally, I don't believe it's possible for either gender to fit into the opposing role.

You say you're uncomfortable around men... you won't be if you meet a guy that actually cares, but is still dominant and assertive. Not just a douchey control freak.

You're 20 years old. You might think you want a nice emotional guy who shares his feelings and relies on you to make decisions, but in 5 years I guarantee you will change your tune. Women are naturally attracted to confident, assertive men, men who have and can acquire resources for her offspring and protect her - that part is innate. The reason I say it's 'weird' is because it contradicts the natural complementary roles of both genders.

You will be more attracted to a guy who takes the lead; he takes your hand, cares about your happiness and leads you towards it.

I don't submit and I don't just whine and complain. I can take the lead and be in charge, and I still consider myself a feminine woman. I want a feminine man who is comfortable with himself. I want that man to be strong and defend himself. I want him to take the lead when needed and not be weak to others. I want him to be my equal, so we can both be strong and weak for each other. We'll take each other's hands and lead ourselves into happiness.

Not everything has you fit into your narrow view of the perfect couple. People like me don't want that. I want someone like me and we can love and understand each other.

I was about to.make a thread with a little more discreet title, "feminine and masculine dynamic", but thus works. Too.

I made the last response, that you had the wrong idea of what feminine is.

Honestly, that seems like a contradiction to me. How is that not a masculine man?

OP your first mistake is pretending that women actually mean what they say when they voice their opinion.

Because you are looking at it too simplistic. I can be those things, and am when I need to be. I don't want a man who projects this all the time though. This is like a defensive response to a situation. I still want him comfortable on his he acts and presents himself.

I still want someone expressive with emotions, but that doesn't have to mean he is crying when because of a bs media story or he broke his nail(like some annoying woman I have known). I guess I am looking for a person who is feminine and takes that roll in life, but will stand up to any challenge and not back down. With me we are equals.

We can both be ourselves, giving and taking the power dynamic in our relationship.

How about you define what a feminine man is?

When I say feminine man, I mean a dude who isn't connected to his inner masculinity. There are traits associated with each type of energy.

Masculine = strong willed, mentally unshakeable (at least when he's most needed), the granite that less stronger energies hold onto for support. Think of this energy as the rock or a mountain. Solid in the face of changing winds of time.
Feminine = flexible, nurturing, flowing like water around the obstacles of life.

Obviously, these are very brief descriptions, there's so much more to them.

So let's have your definition Tier0
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

So someone who can express masculinity and femininity at just the right levels at just the right moment?

^^ Someone once told me that sticking a strap on on your forehead and fuking someone like a unicorn was a thing. Does anyone know if that's true?

I don't want a masculine guy that "changes oil and is dominant and assertive. I explained I wanted him to be strong where it was needed, facing those who challenges himself. I am like that if necessary, yet I consider myself feminine.

WTF, I didn't know this. This would have been the most relevant info. You don't know what you want - you described a person with contradictory traits i.e. a unicorn. Sounds like you're still coming to terms with your sexuality.
