Been this way for a while bro. There is definitely colorism(is this a thing?) among black people.

While I dont agree with why Kap is sitting, I dont see what his skin color has to do with it. That doesnt make his statement more or less correct. Ad hom of peace.

im pretty sure he means that kaepernick was raised by white foster parents in a white family so on the inside he's pretty much a white person

I don’t think he faces those types of things that we face on a daily basis."

I don't think that was in reference to his upbringing, but about him not looking very black by American standards. Not saying I disagree. Dress him up differently and give him a different hairstyle and no one would think of him as being black.

what youll find is lots of illegitimate mixed kids getting with black people and being reported in old census reports as black, since if you were mixed they considered you 100% black. so yeah, lots and lots of mixing over a few hundred years
