I can't see how he gets found guilty for murder. She was a total nut-bar and being a loony in his apartment so he put her out on the balcony to chill out and she jumped off. She is clearly unstable.

He's already been charged with murder. It's no a matter of if they will or won't charge him, he's already in trial for that charge. Im npt a lawyer and have no idea how this chit works, but.. would they maybe be trying him for murder so that if he pleas he can only get manslaughter snd not some lesser charge?

Unfortunately I think or gable is Going to be found guilty. The prosecution is going to make the girl out to be an absolute angel and gable to be a drunk psychopath. Anyone who doesn't think his high speed chase isn't going to have a negative effect on him in court is wrong. All that's going to do is help the prosecution paint him as a psycho. The amount of media attention is going to be his demise

From what others have posted about ausland laws; if she feared for her life and felt that she was in danger of being killed then they can charge him for murder. Even if tostee had absolutely no plans or thoughts of killing her. If she felt that her life was in danger and she tried to climb to a different balcony because she thought she was going to be killed then that would fit the murder charge.

I agree, murder sesms ridiculous for this situation. but they must feel they have a strong case or it wouldn't have made it this far with the charge of murder.

GT fuked himself with that cop chase. More ammo for the prosecution.

I was never pro-toastee, but reading that article... Even the cops are admitting now that he didn't push her and that she made her own decision to try and climb down the building when he wasn't even next to her. Clearly falls under neither murder nor manslaughter
