[QUOTE=CdtCox post_id=1469055781]Springfield released an AR today.

Midlength, BCM furniture, legit BCG, and would could be a better than mil spec trigger. Of course, those couldn't do it without a cringe worthy logo on the receiver. If priced right, this should edge out the M&P Sport/PSA/Anderson/Ruger AR556.

That hand guard is pretty nice, but looks like at least for now it may be exclusive to this AR. Not getting any results for Bravo PKMT except on articles for this.

Nah it's a normal auction so we gotta wait 4 days to see how it ends up, but often listings will slip through and not get a lot of eyes on them.

that snobby ******** group I talked about yesterday has already torn this thing to shreds

mainly bc the castle nut isn't staked and the hand guard was broken after dumping 8 rapid fire mags through it

edit:and also the use of a heavy buffer

Morning MFC.

Mrs. Blump got a new ride yesterday. Traded in her 2011 Tahoe LTZ for a CPO 2015 Tahoe LTZ on 22" wheels with 24k miles. At first I wasn't a fan of the new body styles, but they grew on me. The interior is insane.

Even Hillary isn't dumb enough to call for a ban or restrictions on optics. That would even get the Fudds who normally let her walk all over the 2A up in arms . . . so to speak.

Put in my order for the ELD-X 178 grain bullets. Getting 300 of them to load into all the Federal GMM brass I have been collecting over the last two years. Should result in at least 200 loads matched to my Savage 10T for precision shooting. I am excite.

Do you marinate with the vacuum sealer?
I've heard of people doing this and saying it draws more flavor into the meat, but I haven't done it. Personally, I like the taste of good beef just as it is, but would be interested for venison.

I don't think you realize that we are incrementally heading to regulation of everything. My dad said they used to order guns out of catalogs like Sears, now people would be in shock to hear that. My uncle has a machine gun that in the 80s he just went to a gunstore and bought. Shooting was part of the phys ed curriculum at my high school. Today we live in a world where high flow toilets and incandescent light bulbs are illegal. ATF interprets old laws in new ways all the time. We live in a world where a shoestring can be considered a machine gun. The everyday mass of people slowly get conditioned over time to accept things. You can't imagine an assassination happening and immediate calls for restrictions on scopes? I think to not consider the possibility you have to ignore our history and progression and not consider how the media demonizes *anything* they wish.

I highlighted the key words. Is it possible that we get there someday? Yeah, I'd say that's possible.

But in the meantime something like that is not on the chopping block of the big gun control pushers and they recognize that going after a "hunting" type component would not do well for support of their cause.

The scary military looking components are the key and easy targets for their current "progression" to the next step.

Sell on Armslist or Backpage. I've had way more success on Backpage buying and selling.

Easier for gun-grabbers to go for the low hanging fruit; >10rd mags, Assault Weapons features, close private-party sales (universal background checks), ammo purchase restrictions (potato CA law).

Glass? Then they are digging into the casual hunter groups.

I think you're sh*tting your pants and are completely out of touch with the things that have any plausible possibility of actually happening.
