If he'd be a physics phd, wouldn't it be part of his name in his ID? As proof, he could just post the partially blurred ID.
I'm a german graduating in virology and after successfully defending my thesis it'll say "Dr. rer. nat. MotorcycleBrah" in my ID which is the equivalent german phd in natural science.

Snowowly, solve this:
A mass m can slide without friction in two dimensions on a horizontal surface it is attached by a massless rope of length L to a second mass M through a hole in the surface the mass M hangs vertically in a uniform vertical gravitational field g.
(a) If the mass m moves in a circle of radius r0 centered on the hole with constant
angular velocity ω0, what is value of ω0?
(b) Show that this motion is stable against small perturbations.
(c) Find the frequency of small oscillations about this circular motion.
