Yep... more than a few I know real well are worth 1mil+ ... some you would never know it.. some flaunt it... some that have worked their fingers to the bone to make their fortune... some that have had it handed to them on a silver platter...

it's not the best advice.

This dude is going to be on his death bed, and the grim reaper will show him his pile of cash, and make him watch as he burns it all.

Then the grim reaper will show him a pie chart of all the amount of time in his life he spent accumulating that money.

I met a few and they were all pretty chill, like no care in the world. I even worked for one, would do a half-assed job and he wasn't even that bothered by it.

My uncle, somehow as a doc he's just raking it in. Trade off is that he unfortunately lives in Michigan.

My dad should be relatively close to millionaire status, like $100-$200k off.

I met Lord Trump in 2000. Was in the Trump tower going down the escalator riding the handlebar (I was a kid) and he was coming up the escalator. He told me to get the fuk off right now or I'm out of the building.

Never rode a handlebar again

my mentor and current boss is a multi millionaire. he was addicted to heroin in 2004 and now owns a business that generates 3 million dollars annually. i met him at a cigar shop and he has given me so much over the past few years. he lives very modestly with his girlfriend of 12 years in a small house. he golfs every day and takes great care of his employees. very thankful for that dude.

told me this

"what is your favorite super car, how do you plan to achieve it? what is your goals"

basically mind fuked me and I had to give an explanation on how i am going to achieve my goals in the next 10 years and what to do to drive a supercar (they drove lambos and ferraris btw)

felt like i was getting lectured but was given free knowledge on life and business.... (srs)

Ex boss was CIO of company making six figures for 20+yrs. He and his wife invested in real estate and bought under 100k homes in different states. They did buy/flip and eventually into rentals to sustain the drops in the economy. Both retired at 60 and are living off their rental and have not touched their 401k. He came in as a illegal from Europe with 200$ and retired a millionaire. They both hustled and did it with one kid who's like 30yrs old now. The kid is also successful being an engineer and entrepreneur.

Sure. Sometimes I stand in line to get my picture taken with them too.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Uncle on my dads side made his first million when he was 28. He's in his 40s now and worth atleast 5MIL now. Not that generous unfortunately. He gave me a 10K check when I graduated and that's it.

Retired lawyer
Retired family circuit court judge
Retired mayor

Knew him very well, admired him, he was a true man. Quite racist but if you can get past that he had a lot to tell and his stories were movie worthy. He passed away of cancer at 73-74?

My former boss was a millionaire. She was a legit 4'7" sociopath, never saw someone **** on people like she did. She would demote managers and fire people all the time. Would promote people only after they bought a house from her. She ended up getting fired (after 30 years with the company) for embezzling money.

Yes my Aunt is. One of my best friend's Aunt is (married rich when he died she got all his money) and another Friend has a son who started an ISP up in the Northeast. Turns out he was a conman and is currently being sued by the SEC. But he collected a few million before being caught.

Went with him in his personnal office to discuss business (in Africa) and even had a private conversation together regarding life goals and long-term commitment.

Family that's friends with my parents are apparently millionaires. I'm not sure how much they're worth.

Couldn't even tell you what car he drives, some average suv. I mean it's new but nothing crazy.

They would appear to be middle class if I didn't know better.

His background is law and real estate

A millionaire is nothing these days. It aint the 80's anymore. With the value of my house I'm a "millionaire" but after I pay all my bills I have basically no cash leftover to spend on what I want
