We all know that gender is socially, and not biologically constructed...

But this is getting out of hand. My buddy is an RA and had a meeting with a student (his sex was male) who was 6'5". He was wearing a dress, and preferred to be referred as "them, they, their." I asked my buddy if it was a joke, and he said "no, the student might transfer because of bullying and threats."

What the fuk is going on...

At most I can see there being 3 distinctions (male/female/trans), but this whole 68 different gender pronouns can suck a dink

I can barely remember all of my relatives names let alone 2000 different gender pronouns

The reason that you think that males and females have to act a certain way is because you are socialized, from birth, to believe that. These social interactions in society are given certain meanings, and you respond to those meanings.

Male chimps are smart enough to undergo the process of socialization and associate certain characteristics/objects/traits with male, and vice versa for females.

I can mostly agree with this.

Gender is the sort of the things - actions, ways of thinking/feeling, dressing etc we traditionally associate with a particular biological sex, caused by hormonal differences, but it does depend on some social aspects.

I don't care of people don't "identify" with their biological sex, but beyond male, female, and trans or whatever it is stupid and a way for tumblerinas to feel special.

If you took a bunch of female babys and injected them with testosterone for their entire lives, I am willing to get they would act like more like males, and thus "identify" as male. And vice versa.


But in the end I don't care, because people who want to have different genders beyond that just do so because they hate who they are. I feel sorry for them tbh
