My cousin got his GF *** Boots for her bday a couple years ago and when she opened them she immediately took him to the mall to return them and was like "if you're going to buy me something, make it **** that I will actually wear. Try this section next time" pointing to the Louis Vuitton. He got her the Louis Vuitton boots and now she gives him a list of specific things to get her for each holiday (srs).

Another guy I worked with, he took his fiance on a trip to New York for her bday to see U2 (her favorite band) and bought her a bunch of ****, yet she complained afterwards that "since my birthday is in December I've always been very self-conscious because it's so close to Christmas and my family wouldn't make a big deal about it. You need to do better." He raged and slept in his car for a week but they are married now. This guy went from slaying 10s to being married to a 33-yr old woman and bringing his lunch from home every day because "his wife doesn't want him spending money on restaurants without her." The quality of his work dropped off so bad after he got married that he was fired.
