I been watching Penny Dreadful. Its pretty bad. I finished Stranger things and wanted something similar but this show sucks. It has gore and titties but the plot is absurd and the acting is terrible. It's hard to believe how far Timothy Dalton has fallen since James Bond.

It jumps around trying to include every classic movie monster ever created. And Frankensteins monster doesn't even look like he lifts!

I fail to see the logic in this advice. I have both and little of interest to watch. Most of these shows are cliche or irritatingly predictable, or simply ridiculous.

I was watching Cage the other day and some young punk snatched the women's purse. She ran after him, caught him, beat him up and took back her purse. Thing was, she still looked gorgeous and wasn't even breathing hard. One has to wonder, who writes this stuff?

I'm assuming you've all seen Breaking Bad, Narcos, and Shameless?

Might've forgotten 1 or 2 but I'd say those are the best shows on Netflix at the moment.

I started Peaky Blinders and didn't really get into it, about 4-5 episodes in just stopped watching. Should I have kept going?


House of Cards is top tier TV as in maybe top 5 shows ever made. Maybe top 6 or 7 depending on your taste, it's one of the shows that really made Netflix.


Narcos was great, you'll be hooked fast, still not HoC epicness but it's only in it's what.. second season?

Shameless seems dumb to me, seems like a low-intelligence show that panders to those who would normally watch reality TV. Completely unrealistic, they try to play it off as things are bad but somehow it's this perfect relationship between everybody despite issues, it's just fake. Couldn't get passed the first few episodes.

Also, for anyone reading, Netflix made a movie called Beasts of No Nation. Top tier movie, big budget, acting so convincing that you'll feel sick to your stomach at certain parts. 10/10 movie, one you'd expect from top tier Hollywood movies released in theaters. Idris Elba's maybe best acting ever.

Anyone remember when he sits down to meet the supreme commander and looks at the Chinese businessman with that cold stare? Damn. lol.











Apparently directed by the same guy who did True Detective, no wonder it's so good.
