In after fukking hopelessely retarded miscers say they got there through hard work and sweat and then then turn around and blame people that make $12 less an hour for their problems. People like you *******s are as big a problem as the people perpatrating this madness. I wish there was not a place for you on this planet.

Bankers frauded a trillion dollars in bailouts through the housing bubble but sure its welfare recipients causing you to be hopeless miserable fukks. Billionaires fabricate reasons for wars to go steal money and then hire their own companies to rebuild the ruined nations so they are literally profiting off their own peoples blood.

These people dont work any harder than small business owner pulling 100+ hour weeks that are the lifeblood of succesful countries, corporations go to countries already in dire situations and make it worse and murder the dissenting population.

Just because you can go get people to work in sweatshop conditions for no money doesnt mean you are smart or hard working because you do so it means you are a total piece of chit with no soul.

This fukked up type of thinking that everyone is only responsible for themselves and fukk everyone else because they dont care about you either is why humans will not make it as a species. It would take a global change in consciousness for us to have any hope at all.

Crazy how different the mentality of a Canadian is compared to an American (the average obviously) yet they are so closely located.

I wouldn't say my mentality is that of an average Canadian but I would agree that it is more prevalent.

I lived in Alberta for 9 years and most Albertans want nothing more than for oil and corporations to come back under any circumstances they wouldnt care if we completely removed corporate tax and royalties as long as they get their 120k jobs back for another couple years.

We had an absolutely RIDICULOUS boom for over a decade, hard to explain the kind of money that was going around unless you saw it first hand and yet 2 years into a dip both the province and everyone in it are so completely broke we "have" to put a huge number of new taxes into play pretty much every month. The corruption and mismanagement that went on was and is seriously disgusting.

You think having billions of "dollars" of stock is = to having billions of dollars in a bank account.

If the people listed in the OP tried to liquidate all of their holdings they could crash the world's markets or even if they did it slowly they wouldn't get close to 10% of what those "networth" state. Those are all men who own businesses which are only highly valued because they 1. are solid companies but more importantly 2. They restrict the amount of stock out there which drives prices up(because everyone wants a piece of the pie). By doing so they inflate the value of their own shares. This is why most of those guys give themselves almost no monetary compensation. They know that if they increase share value by 8% they'll make one hellofa lot more than 2-3 million dollars on the stock options they receive.

You can try to belittle their accomplishments as greedy men who think of nothing but making money, but they have all given more to mankind than you and any possible decedents in your line ever will. The only thing you will do better than them is deliver more mail. How does that make you feel boyo?

Does it mean they took that money from the poor? NO. That isn't how it works. In fact, if it weren't for these people, there would be a lot more poor and they would be even poorer. They create wealth. Wealth is created by production, not holdings.

Pretty pathetic how people think someone can deserve tens of billions. As if these 8 worked as hard or produced as much as billions of people collectively toiling away.

bill gates is the biggest philanthropist this world has ever seen. Warren buffet has pledged most of his wealth to the bill gates foundation. There are a few I wonder about like Larry Ellison and Steve jobs. They don't or didn't give much to anyone.

bill gates invented the operating system most of the world runs on. The janitor that cleaned the toilets at Microsoft 20 years ago never has to work and day in his life and neither do his grandchildren.

They don't have tens of billions. It's a hypothetical number if they sold their companies.

Is there a point to any of that? Are you trying to suggest that Bill Gates developing a superior GUI and then keeping the cost low enough to disincentive competition (not the first GUI and someone else would have done it shortly after anyways if Windows hadn't been there) someone deserves the wealth of roughly half a billion workers?

There wouldn't be a Windows if it wasn't for the poor, disrespected bastards working in mines to source raw materials to build the computers he worked on in the first place, people building and maintaining the roads that transported that software, etc, etc, etc

Good for that janitor but he's one in a million and it's no concept for how an economy should be run.

Hooo boy this is going to be fun. Explain to me in detail how that specific list of people have murdered a single person? In fact, I would bet that Bill gates and Warren Buffet have saved many more lives than either have harmed through charitable giving to the poorest of the poor in Africa through the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.

Also, I would love to hear the explanation of what exact resource any of those on the list are hoarding? Had you read my post you would have realized they do not hoard anything but ownership in their respective businesses.

I will answer your question though by talking strictly about what Bill Gates has accomplished.

Bill Gates via Microsoft made computers/software that paved the way for personalized computing. Even today over 90% of computers, phones, and cash registers run on Microsoft software. He hit a net worth of over 100 billion dollars in 1999, but his net worth obviously dropped from there. He put over 30 billion dollars into his foundation and Buffet also gave over 30 billion to the foundation as well. The foundation works to immunize against infectious disease, prevent childhood nutrition based diseases, and improve education for those of us in the US.

Exactly. If my post would have been read this wouldn't have to be explained 10x over.

Again hypothetical number, but if it wasn't for Bill Gates there would be a lot less production and the world would be a less efficient place. He makes money because his systems make other people money and thus the world turns. He has provided probably hundreds of thousands of jobs for people all over the world starting with the people who mine the raw products(who wouldn't otherwise have jobs at all) down to the salesmen all over the world.

This is completely factually innacurate...if they weren't there dominating the industry many people could have businesses doing the same thing spreading the wealth more evenly both geographically and through class.

Whats the point of life if you achieve everything?

One of the BEST feelings in life is achieving a goal. Make that much money and you'll never get that high again.

Not to mention it's just fu--ing pointless, nobody needs anywhere near that. Chasing money their entire lives, dying with huge amounts of it yet having never had a family... some of these old men ought to be pitied (not all, Gates has a family obviously)

Ok, now I'm pissed. This is no better than the medieval ages while the King & Queen live a hedonistic lifestyle while giving absolute no fuks at all about the peasant class in some primitive land in Europe. Today, these eight guys are living like SuperKings while the 50% of the WORLD population are living SuperPoverty as hell.

edit: For the record, those SuperRich of the world have some type of obligation to help out those 50% poor people out, if they don't then they will be the victims of a revolution.

We live in the information age because people are the internet are reading stuff that isn't filtered out by the thought police and now they are wising up towards what's going on around them.

While I would agree with this idea for grocery stores and having local stores instead of the generic fuking walmarts technology doesn't work in the same way. While the sector could benefit from more competition I don't think you could have local technology makers for things like software because having universal stuff is superior.

edit: For the record, those SuperRich of the world have some type of obligation to help out those 50% poor people out, if they don't then they will be the victims of a revolution.

We live in the information age because people are the internet are reading stuff that isn't filtered out by the thought police and now they are wising up towards what's going on around them.

This is Buffet's house. "Superking" doesn't exactly jump to the forefront of my mind.

There wouldn't be a Windows if it wasn't for the poor, disrespected bastards working in mines to source raw materials to build the computers he worked on in the first place, people building and maintaining the roads that transported that software, etc, etc, etc

Good for that janitor but he's one in a million and it's no concept for how an economy should be run.
dude I understand exactly what you're saying. In a perfect utopia that would work. Even in the most peaceful of societies "the Amish" there's a hierarchy. Communism in principle is perfect. The problem is my crops, your crops grow better than our neighbor with the same plot of land and same soil. He just doesn't work as hard as you and I do. So he has less to trade and barter with. We put up with it for a while and fill his void. But over time he takes us for granted and we get pissed. I don't know the solution and I feel terrible for the exploited

Money makes money, and as time goes on it is becoming more efficient. I would bet within the next 20 years 10 people will own 99% of the worlds money.
Things are always as good or as bad as you think they're going to be

The people of Africa not dying of malaria would say otherwise.

Because you don't do anything to help the people of Africa doesn't mean he doesn't. In a year he gives away more dollars than you can count boyo.
