I have been reading in world news the Australia has a problem with meth. Is this going to cause your country to have tougher penalties for the extreme meth/ice use in your country or what?

Someone made a thread earlier about this that has since been deleted. A few of the replies (like in this thread) from Aussies were straight on about terrorism or muslims - of course their first reaction was to make some political point and not a basic human reaction that innocent people have been murdered. A young child died and another 3 month old infant is in a very bad way. Just horrible

The video of him driving outside Flinders St station - those guys with baseball bats were brave and did well to try and stop him. I suppose no one would have predicted what he did next. I don't believe in capital punishment. But if the cops shot him fatally in the chest rather than in the arm I would be more than ok with that. It wouldn't be 'justice' but it would be sufficient

The car missed me by two metres.

I was outside having a smoke, heard the screams of people coming from my left, looked and seen people running away as the car sped past me collecting two people right in front of me. They prob went 3-4 metres from the ground into the air.

One of the blokes with the lady was howling and fell to the ground, later I seen the woman bleeding from her head as she was waiting for help.

I was really shaken by what I seen. Absolute chaos and something, unfortunately I will never forget.

This people that have a life long history of escalating violence, why the fuk do we keep letting them on the streets? Like that Adrian Bailey it's just a matter of time until they kill someone. Can we start actually putting this people IN JAIL, not near jail, not on parole, not on probation or corrective order or whatever the **** else, put em actually inside the jail and for as long as they remain complete ****wits, leave em there? I pay a chitload of tax and I want these kunts in fukkin jails. Jeeze.

Happened right outside of a friend's workplace. Pretty crazy imagining that. Bourke St is always full af. I read on the article one lady got a spinal injury and the people helping out couldn't do anything except just hold her steady. Fuk imagine one moment you are just chilling in the city and the next moment a psycho hits you paralyzing you for life. RIP to the deceased.

Look at the useless cops in fluro vests doing nothing. Their weapons are useless unless they're confronted by defenceless biscuit thieves. All this will do is prompt a review on police pursuits and bail laws.

It has happened. Took me some googling because I forgot the names/details of the case but his name was Garry David. The Victorian Parliament passed an act specifically to keep him behind bars

cops arent to blame, its the people higher than them telling them what to do.

They asked their superiors to ram the guy 7 times and were denied everytime.
