I missed most of that discussion. Though I will be honest, as much as I love my 320 I'm quite fond of the VP9. No experience with the PPQ. Recently decided to give appendix carry and try and I think that will be my full time carry method. I have done everything from IWB to pocket holsters and have to admit the appendix setup has been the most comfortable for a compact size firearm. I can comfortably carry my 320c with near minimal printing and it doesn't dig when I'm driving.

I can't share any details obviously but I can say it wasn't "lowest bidder" situation. Glock crushes absolutely everyone on cost. Their guns have so little variation that their production capabilities beat out the entire striker fired market. They're known for putting in stupidly low bids for contracts.

I'm going to buy the **** out of the X-carry when that goes into production. The X series grip module is way better than the standard. Plus it retains very close dimensions to the compact model but still has the full 17rnd capacity.

I still might snag a glock 43 for summer carry though. A friend that came from glock still has discount hookups so until we make something poly in that size range (ignoring the abortion that is the p290), it should be a solid choice.

It was in the low $200's per handgun if I'm not mistaken

Edit: maybe it was the 300's. I remember seeing either $207 per or $307 per

I can't share any cost or contract details. However I can share that some reliable sources tell me that glock can build the majority of their offerings far lower than we can.

Again, I don't know the details or politics involved with the selections but I'm confident Glock can undercut us pretty easy if that was the determining factor.

So bros gonna hit the range early tomorrow before super bowl. Really want to work on getting my pistol accuracy up because it is atrocious. Give me you general blanket tips and suggestions which you would tell someone, who you are trying to teach to shoot a pistol well.

And what would be the best range to practice at for practicality? Really would just like to be able to see some tight groups. 5,10,15 yds?(shooting 9mm shield if it mattters)

if you're accurate at distance, you'll be accurate close in

that said, building confidence in your shooting at closer range shouldn't be overlooked and slowly increase the distance as your ability improves

personally, I'd rather see a big ragged hole at 5-7 yards rather than a scattered pattern at 15-20 - makes me more confident in my shooting

Trying to accomplish lots of studying someday so I can feel like a visit to the range will be well worth it as an overall successful day lol.

Anyone use Tulammo through a canik tp9sa? I have 1k and it's my conceal, I need to find ammo for carrying, but I also want to use the tulammo at the range. Hopefully there won't be an issue with the gun accepting it. The ranges around here do allow steel.

Should I clean and lube the firearm before my first time? It seems a little dirty/dry and to cock the firearm, it isn't very easy

Picked up the Savage 10 yesterday, time to start looking for glass. Think I may see how the reviews look for the new Gen II Viper PST scopes when they come out, or try and catch somewhere closing out the Gen I models cheaper.

they're both .264 projectiles - weight wise, I'm sure there's some difference

the grendel will fit ar-15 platforms

The P320 won because of the external safety. I'd be willing to bet on that.
