Started watching a show called Tomorrow People (Jumpers for TV). Started off well enough but get cartoonish in the sci-fi. Main character's gf kinda reminds me of Iris (the Flash) in all her annoying glory.

I hate that when there is just that one character that annoys you in a show that you like and it kind of ruins it for you. I'm like that with big bang theory, Leonard annoys the hell out of me.

Bump, started watching halt and catch fire, pretty good 7-8/10, waiting for more episodes so I'm looking to get into a new series. Know of any of the newest series that are good?

Just finished "Tomorrow People." Lots of sleeping around and implausibility in the plot, but that's to be expected nowadays in virtually every film, TV series. Mildly entertaining as a sci-fi, but I doubt if I'd recommend it.

I'm now watching "Travelers" written by Brad Wright of "Stargate" and "The Outer Limits", both of which I love, so I have higher hopes for this one. We'll see.

Just watched Ghost Writer.

Very good! Reminded me of Hitchcock films.

My suspicions about "Traveler" were spot on provided you enjoy Wright. 4/5

Limitless -- mildly entertaining. 3/5

The Kill Floor -- more suspense than pure sci-fi. 2/5

I just found an interesting show by accident while browsing, called 3%. The premise is that 97% of the population live in extreme poverty and the remainder live in luxury. Everyone has one chance in their life to join the 3% by going through a set of tests to see if they are worthy, once they turn 20

I just started watching Supernatural. It always seemed like a bargain bin X-Files, but it's much better. I do like that it deals with more.... supernatural stuff instead of trying to make everything logical.

I watched the first two episodes and almost didn't continue, but it got a lot better and I ended up binging it (only 10 30-minute episodes). Timothy Olyphant is easily the best part of the show, while Drew Barrymore has absolutely lost her glow.
Stop it. Get some help.

Not like she had that much to begin with. She was always kinda doofy looking. Now she's just more doofy looking.

Anyone watch The OA? I'm hearing so much about it.

It's alright. It was entertaining but I don't think I'd recommend. The first few episodes were pretty slow; I think episode 4 was when it became a little better.

Please include genre and what is good about it. Timeless, Limitless, The Tomorrow People, etc. So far, most of them are only so-so due to continuity of story and always some very annoying cast member. I can guess the female writers with my eyes closed.
