One of my ARs is the SW Sport 2.
It's a good rifle. Shoots 1MOA at 100 yards with irons. Sights needed no adjustment.

Am I the only one who liked Fury? I'll bring it up among friends, friends' family and typically just get a shrug and "it was ok." Fuggin' loved that movie.



When they lined up to "squirt the treeline" the walls of the auditorium would shake and you could feel the blast in your chest.

Yeah, a couple of those are in there just because no matter how many times they come on cable, I'm gonna watch them. I guess Big Lebowski, Fight Club, some Bond movies, and some of the original Star Wars would go too. But I actually believe that the rest are the defining movies of their genre. I don't even know what genre you would call Lebowski or Fight Club. They were definitely groundbreaking. Same for Saving Private Ryan but that's established. I actually think that was a sh!tty movie other than the war scenes and photography.

I had heard Fury was exceptional and really wanted to like it going in . . . hated it coming out. Was painfully slow/tedious and just not very good. Had a few good moments. Nearly turned it off, but figured it had to get better--never did. Would never waste my time on re-watching.

I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again.

The first 80% of Fury was one of my favorite movies ever.
The last 20% of it made me hate every bit of it.

I was so pissed off at the last major scene of that movie that I never bothered watching it again even though I absolutely loved everything up until that point.

I'm not crazy picky about historical accuracy (Inglorious Basterds is my favorite movie afterall), but the way they made the freakin' Waffen SS look like a bunch of bafoons from Benny Hill was downright painful to watch.

Hey relent, it is against company policy if I send a used dildo with my slide?


I ordered the Viper today from PA. Assuming nothing dumb happens while I'm getting my taxes done (it won't), and I get the Viper Friday/Saturday, I'll be sending my slide to you beginning of next week.

Love the way Quentin uses dialogue between the characters. The one on one personal conversations in his movies are unmatched. Girls hate his movies though. Can't imagine why.

Maybe I'm a borderline contrarian. Not going to deny the greatness of Saving Private Ryan, but everyone likes it. Fury felt like "my" war movie to keep in the collection.

Inglourious Basterds was the first blu-ray I bought. It was one of the last great looking 35mm films before the big digital push happened. We ran that print for 3 months and it hardly had any scratches, dirt, or frame jumps. Tarantino would use only the highest quality film stock, even if it was for 3000 copies. Crisp contrast of reds, blacks, and white, but also great green, blue, yellow balance. Normally one is sacrificed for the other.

That and Basterds was just badass.
