Brownels is where I'm planning on getting this aero from, I just need to figure out what else to add onto this order from their website, might as well take advantage of the free shipping and buy whatever else pieces I need.

That rifle is a first gen m and p sport so theres no dust cover or forward assist. I dont think its a big deal but if your going to be trekking through the mud or something you might want a dust cover. the forward assist comes in handy as well but i dont know that its really all that much easier than just clearing the chamber and racking another round unless your in combat then obvi you want the fastest way possible. I dont know much about aero but theyre repped around here pretty hard. I have an m&p sport2as seen here, never had any problems with it yet (so far about 1250-1500 rounds) and i use all kinds of cheap-mid range ammo.

The rifle that ike recommended looks just like the rifles you posted but as i said yesterday to your original post its missing the hand guard (the hand guard (cool tacticool part that covers the barrel so you dont burn yourself), the stock (part you out on your shoulder), and the grip. The barrel is not exposed like that when its fully assembled. A cool handguard can be had for around 200 bucks and are pretty cake to install), stocks and grips are inexpensive.

edit: didnt even notice that was a .22, yea would not buy that if i was you man.

Nah, I'm in Illinois, not far from Chicago (less than 15 mins).. no outdoor ranges or anything environmental around here like that.

What's everyone have against .22?

Yeah Aero is quality chit, they've been making receivers for premium AR brands as an OEM supplier for awhile. They own Ballistic advantage who make great barrels for them, their BCG's are quality, etc. I would say it's better then the M&P but that's not to say the M&P is a piece of chit.

You can pick out a handguard stock and grip that suit your needs and preferences vs having to put up with whatever is stuck on from the OEM or worse, pay for the furniture from the factory and then toss it out so you can replace it with stuff you actually want on there.

Any recommendations on the hand guard, grip, and whatever else I need to buy for that aero? I don't know what suits me as I've never had one before.

I have the sopmod bravo stock on mine, I like it. Also a fan of the Magpul CTR. Both are around $50. There's tons out there but these are what I used in the military so I'm already familiar with them and they feel natural to me.

Pistol grip I have the BCM gunfighter grip. It has a little bit of an angle to it which again I'm used to but others maybe not so much. Really up to what you want it to feel like. I also really like the ergo grip, so comfy.





I don't have a free floating handguard, so I won't pretend to know all the pros/cons of those.

I'm not too familiar with handguards so I'll let someone else point you in the right direction there, although I like my aero ones. These sights are great if you get a metal handguard with 1913 rails on top:

man I really appreciate you guys, seriously amazing. I want the FDE grip, magpul, and mags, but not sure if that'll look weird on a black AR or if the FDE has varying colors which would make it look really off.
