Sometimes I wonder how many animals I've thrown away because I let their meat spoil in my fridge

It's a shame I didn't get a chance to chew on their flesh before it went to a landfill

Pretty much. I don't really feel humans NEED meat to survive in our day and age. It's mostly conditioning (physical and spiritual)

I don't need a good response.

You are an assumed ******* in this thread. First of all, for being on your high horse... but mostly for crying about your mod neg in multiple posts.

OP. The hallmark of a *******.

I started a thread with a particular belief system, and I'm sticking to it unless I hear a good argument as to why it is acceptable what goes on regarding animal welfare. I've yet to hear one in all 6 pages other than "negged *******."

You have nothing to say to me.

And I'm saying this for the last time because I'm not fond of being somewhere where people are deaf to what I'm saying:

I started this thread with an intention of discussion and not a war. If you read the OP you will see it.

Like most Vegan threads that fail, you fell flat on your face trying to have a discussion when you act morally superior than others. Not saying thats what you did because I didnt read the whole thread.

You dont have a heart if you dont have any feels when you see animals suffering. That said most of us dont do anything about it just like when we see a stranger suffering. Doesn't mean we have no heart. And we dont want to hear about it when we eat with a vegan. Just order you meal ill order mine...I think its all the pushy Vegans which seems to be 99% that give the other 1% a bad name. Its also is perpetuated by the fact its almost always seems to be some airheaded instasloot who is looking for a way to be better than everyone.

Its basically like trying to convince someone to convert to your religion. No one would care if you went about being a vegan silently. We are all capable of making our own decisions.

If treating animals on the same level as humans makes you feel good about your morality, have at it.

I'm not trying to be better than anybody else, though the responses/negs in here showed how low people are. I started a simple discussion, human being to other human beings. Anyway I'm tired of saying this.

We cannot have a normal discussion about this topic here, and its not OP's fault

Mate, already some pages back I said that I wanted to shed some light and consciousness in case people don't really see what's happening, and that the decision is up to them.

Just giving my opinion from what I've seen from other vegan threads around here. 99% of them turn into maul the vegan after they insult miscers so Its prob instant attack mode whenever they are mentioned.

I'm negging you for your second post, I'll show you how it went down:

I come in and I see your trolly vegan post about how you can tell the animals suffered by looking in their eyes. I hover over neg button, but I decide to hold off... after all, it's just a troll.

Then, I see this:

Half way through reading that, I rapidly begin tapping on the "neg OP" button... I actually almost broke my phone screen trying to press the neg button, finally the screen popped up.
I begin rapidly tapping the "I disapprove" bubble, and insert the message (you'll see it in your cp, that's for you).

The website lets me know that points have been deducted from OP, and I exhaled a breath of relief.

Personally I didnt offend anyone, yet I got quite a few negs

Unfortunately most people here are not reasonable like you, so having a conversation/discussion is almost impossible

We dont "need" it but we are made to eat it, never forget that. Our appendix is meant for helping consume raw meat and prevent sickness while doing so, essentially good bacteria. Our teeth as well, they are made for being omnivorous.

As long as you arent ignorant to facts and you are doing it mainly for a belief system you choose, I dont see a reason to give you sh*t.

dairy products are honestly disgusting

i've drastically reduced the amount of dairy I eat.

only time I have dairy is when I have a bowl of cereal like 3 times a week

although, I have no problem with people who hunt and eat the meat from their kill, that is just a natural occurance, and the animal has had a chance to live naturally. factory farming is disgusting though

I'll be going vegetarian at some point in my life. It's just wrong, no matter how you look at it. Most people are just too scared to really think about it and make the switch. Vegan though I think is too much and almost impossible to pull off anyway.

It's more difficult indeed. Vegans know about certain foods I didn't even know exist and aren't that mainstream popular. They get pretty creative with their food. **** takes time and true willingness to really make a shift.

It's far easier in 2017. Mock meat products are actually extremely tasty (even taste better than their meat counterparts in some cases) and the price on them is going down and down with there being more demand for them. Props for seeing how wrong it is, it really doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

IMO the ultimately difficult part of being vegan in this day and age is finding places to go out and eat. But that will also eventually be rectified when restaurants start seeing that vegans are making up more and more of their customers, and they will eventually cater to it. A lot of fast food joints are already hopping on it.

Actually what it comes down to is if one ultimately cares about being a good person and giving a **** about a cause greater than themselves. Once that point is reached, difficulty becomes irrelevant.
