I used to use CNN money for my investment news and holy fuk they would post headlines that were conclusions drawn from the use of one fact followed by horrifically stupid assumptions to stir the pot. They would legit have titles/headlines like "Dollar worth less now is the time to buy gold" and then use thefactthat the debt ceiling was having trouble being passed in congress to assume that the USA would default on it's loans and therefore it would force the dollar into a tailspin and the only way to save yourself was to buy gold.

I am convinced that the authors at outlets like CNN, Yahoo, and MSN were english majors who don't understand how to think logically but somehow managed to finagle their way into being called "Journalists" in the same way girls who don't want to study to finish their nursing degree because they like to drink become "early childhood development" majors and think that as teachers they deserve 90k a year despite working 8 months a year.... Lib logic I swear on me mum m8

Trump makes chit up all the time lol most politicians are absolute liars as well. The point of having a free press and different institutions in gov't is to allow for checks and balances between various bullchitters.

Here's the real question though: why did he ban them? He could the reactionary dickwad they portray him to be therefore he wanted to kick out people who didn't agree with him. Or he could be calculating as fuk and did this to cause drama in the newscycle to distract from other things he is doing. There is no other benefit to him. It certainly won't stop those news outlets from publishing their opinion piece, fake news or whatever you want to call it.

Trump's biggest asset is that he is unpredictable. Even when he does what liberal think he would do, I always get the sense that he's just doing that to fuk with them while he does his own thing.

We'll see what the outcome of his policies are. So far his cabinet picks are pretty chitty. It's too soon to see any real effect of his other policies, i.e. regarding trade or immigration. Time will tell.

I realize that others have already been refuting your nonsense but I'm going to hop in anyway:

Fox News is by far the least biased, most focused on reality mainstream cable news organization.

CNN is horrible. Completely biased and constantly pushing fake news to further their agenda. Take a look at how they made it seem like the Castille sister was calling for peace during those riots rather than the reality, that she was calling for the violence to be moved elsewhere.

Fake news is fake news. Twisting a person's words to fit your agenda is no different than completely inventing the words. Both are creating a false narrative to push an agenda. That's fake news. CNN for sure is fake news.

I have read so many articles from those guys with headlines

"Source from white house reports donald trump upset over news coverage"

"Donald trumps wife upset over husband"

"Source says donald trump does not want to be president anymore"

Etc, etc. Fukking trash media is basically the equivalent of tabloid magazines. No real sources, all fake news and hearsay from some white house.

Its sad though because if you go to the cesspool of r/politics and just look around, they eat news like that for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they are still scratching their heads at what fake news is LMAO.
